The project aims to challenge young music producers to write and record music based on a sample pack provided of a bunch of recorded noise samples from Dhaka and allow each individual artist to interpret it through their musical preferences and style of music production followed by an event where each of the selected tracks are discussed in details by its producer.

Dhaka Noise Project - The EP (2017)

In its second year, the project in partnership with Akaliko Records and EMK Center's Maker Lab. This year five tracks have been selected for the EP, two more from last year.

The project aims to challenge young music producers to write and record music based on a sample pack provided of a bunch of recorded noise samples from Dhaka and allow each individual artist to interpret it through their musical preferences and style of music production followed by an event where each of the selected tracks are discussed in details by its producer. 

This year we had submissions from music producers beyond Dhaka and includes the cities of Bogra and Pabna.
