Tresor New Faces (26.07.23)

@hedstroem_pflug from Heidelberg have been making mind-warping music together since 2018, when they met on festival grounds. Since 2020, they've contributed to the Schimmer Records crew based in Stuttgart.

Their style belongs to groove-ridden Techno and is characterized by dribbled kicks and rhythms, organic textures as well as deep and hypnotic atmospheres that create a sensual and driving vibe.

They have already played several gigs all around Germany and abroad, including at venues such as Anomalie Art Club, ://about blank and Club Ost in Berlin.

Several of the duos EP’s and tracks have been released recently on labels such as Room Trax, BCCO, Suara, SYXT, Schimmer Records, Synergie, Drawner Records and their self-release series - with many more expected to follow this year.

Tom, known as Falling Echoes, has been a fixture in the techno scene for over a decade, working under various aliases before launching his current project in 2019. His debut as Falling Echoes came via Ricardo Garduno’s Illegal Alien Records, with subsequent releases on esteemed imprints like Soma Records, BCCO, and the iconic Molecular Recordings.

Falling Echoes is celebrated for his hypnotic, sci-fi-inspired sound, blending driving energy with immersive, dance-floor-focused intensity. His productions and DJ sets are crafted to transport listeners into a deep, compelling journey, embodying his unique techno vision.

This mix, recorded in his studio on CDJs, includes a standout track from Kaiser on Key Vinyl. It captures Falling Echoes' current mood as both a producer and DJ, offering a hypnotic and dance-floor-centred exploration of his sonic universe.

BCCO MIX SERIES 520: Falling Echoes

Shørt, born in 1993 in Castellana Grotte (BA), discovered his love for music at an early age, inspired by his father’s influence. In 2012, he made his debut as a DJ at local festivals, sharing the stage with artists like Rebekah (CLR) and Marco Faraone.

After a brief hiatus, Shørt re-emerged, releasing a series of mixes that caught the attention of both local and international record labels. On March 20, 2018, he released his first track under the Sacred Ritual label, followed by his debut EP Dark Side on Sisma Rec on May 7, 2018.

Following another break, Shørt returned in 2021, continuing to carve his path in the electronic music scene.

Since 2017, he has been shaping the regional techno scene in Mannheim and its surroundings. Further bookings in institutional clubs like Tresor Berlin or RSO followed. Co-hosting a visionary event series at Disco Zwei, he has been instrumental in presenting well-respected bookings to the local scene. Besides the club nights, the Raserei residents started a record label of the same name, to establish themselves and their musical vision beyond the region.
