Lalita Sahasranama is a sacred Hindu text for the worshippers of the Goddess Lalita Devi, i.e. the Divine Mother, in the form of her power, Shakti. Lalita is the Goddess of bliss, an epithet for Shiva's wife Goddess Parvati. Etymologically, "Lalita" means "She Who Plays". In the root form (vyutpatti), the word "Lalita" means "spontaneous" from which the meaning "easy" is derived and from there-forth the word implicitly extends to "play". ॐ aum = is a sacred/mystical syllable in Sanatan Dharma or Indian religions, i.e. Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism[4]
tryambakam = the three-eyed one (accusative case)
yajāmahe = We worship, adore, honor, revere
sugandhim = sweet smelling, fragrant (accusative case)
puṣṭi = A well-nourished condition, thriving, prosperous, fullness of life
vardhanam = One who nourishes, strengthens, causes to increase (in health, wealth, well-being); who gladdens, exhilarates, and restores health; a good gardener
urvārukam = cucumber <a kind of Indian vegetable> (in the accusative case)

Ши́ва (санскр. शिव, śiva IAST, «благой», «милостивый») — в индуизме олицетворение разрушительного начала вселенной и трансформации (созидания); одно из божеств верховной триады (тримурти), наряду с творцом Брахмой и поддержателем Вишну. Согласно «Шива-пуране», является создателем и Вишну, и Брахмы. Олицетворяет одновременно разрушительное и созидательное начала. Пять божественных ролей Шивы: создание, поддержка, растворение, сокрытие и дарование благодати.

зображается чаще всего сидящим в позе лотоса, с кожей белого цвета, с синей шеей, со спутанными или скрученными в пучок на макушке (джата) волосами, носящим змею на шее, голове, руках и ногах (как браслеты), на поясе и переброшенную через плечо (как аналог священного шнура). Одет в тигровую или слоновью шкуру, восседает на тигровой шкуре. На лбу — третий глаз, а также трипундра из священного пепла (бхасма или вибхути).
