A baby was born on the W Train the night before my mom's birthday, with some help from strangers. I wrote a song about it during February Album Writing Month. Thank you to Wobbie Wobbit for mixing.

I saw it in the paper, so maybe it happened last night
Some baby got herself born in the first car on a W train
She found a stranger to help her out

In this week's exploration of genres I combined Midwest Emo with some R&B elements

Midwest Madness

The day hangs down like hazy curtains
their linen made out of our burdens
and all I want to do
is tear them down to see you 

I won't wait until it's evening-
