ਰਾਸ ੮ ਅੰਸੂ ੧੨ - ਕੁਤਬ ਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਲਾਹ ੨

ਆਵਹੁ ਮੀਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥ ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਨਾਰੇ ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਗਿਆਨ-ਇੰਦ੍ਰਿਓ! ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹੇਲੀਓ! ਆਓ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਵੋ ਜੋ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ । 
So come, my beloved friends, and sing the songs of joy, O sisters.

ਸਚੁ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵਹੁ ਸੋਹਿਲੜਾ ਜੁਗ ਚਾਰੇ ॥
ਉਹ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਵੋ ਜੋ ਅਟੱਲ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਵੋ ਜੋ ਚਹੁ ਜੁਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਆਤਮਕ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਦੇਈ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਤੁਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਲੱਗੋਗੀਆਂ ।
Sing the true songs of joy and God will be pleased. You shall be celebrated throughout the four ages.

ਅਪਨੈ ਘਰਿ ਆਇਆ ਥਾਨਿ ਸੁਹਾਇਆ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥
(ਹੇ ਸਹੇਲੀਓ! ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਘਰ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਸੱਜਣ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬੈਠਾ ਸੋਭਾ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਜੀਵਨ-ਮਨੋਰਥ ਸਵਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ ।
My Husband Lord has come into my home, and my place is adorned and decorated. Through the Shabad, my affairs have been resolved.

ਗਿਆਨ ਮਹਾ ਰਸੁ ਨੇਤ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਜਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣ ਰੂਪੁ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ॥
ਉੱਚੇ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਸੁਰਮਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਭਵਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ।
Applying the ointment, the supreme essence, of divine wisdom to my eyes, I see the Lord's form throughout the three worlds.

ਸਖੀ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਰਸਿ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਹਮ ਘਰਿ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਆਇਆ ॥੨॥
ਹੇ ਸਹੇਲੀਓ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜੋ ਤੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਵੋ ਜੋ ਆਤਮਕ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਸੱਜਣ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਿਆ ਹੈ ।੨।
So join with me, my sisters, and sing the songs of joy and delight; my friends have come into my home. ||2||

ਬਾਰਿਜ ਫੂਲਿ ਰਹੇ ਸਰਿ ਪੁੰਜ ਸੁਗੰਧ ਸਨੇ ਸਰਿਤਾਨ ਘਟਾਈ ॥
ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਸਰੋਵਰਾ ਵਿਚ ਕਮਲ ਦੇ ਫੁਲ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ (ਫੈਲਾ) ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਘਟ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
The mass of lotus in the tank are spreading their fragrance

ਕੁੰਜਤ ਕੰਤ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੁਲਹੰਸ ਕਲੇਸ ਬਢੈ ਸੁਨਿ ਕੈ ਤਿਹ ਮਾਈ ॥
ਹੰਸਾ ਦੀ ਕੂੰ ਕੂੰ ਦੀ ਧੁਨ ਕੰਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਸੁਣ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਹੇ ਮਾਤਾ! ਮਨ ਦਾ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਵਧ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
All other birds except the swan are playing and hearing their sound, the affiction increases in the mind still further

ਬਾਸੁਰ ਰੈਨਿ ਨ ਚੈਨ ਕਹੂੰ ਛਿਨ ਮੰਘਰ ਮਾਸਿ ਅਯੋ ਨ ਕਨ੍ਰਹਾਈ ॥
ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ (ਵਿਚ ਕਿਸੇ) ਛਿਣ ਵੀ ਚੈਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ (ਕਿਉਾਂਕਿ) ਮਘਰ ਦਾ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਕਨ੍ਰਹਈਆ ਨਹੀਂ (ਆਇਆ)।
Krishna has not come even in the month of Maghar, therefore there is no comfort during the day and during the night

ਜਾਤ ਨਹੀ ਤਿਨ ਸੋ ਮਸਕ੍ਰਯੋ ਟਸਕ੍ਯੋ ਨ ਹੀਯੋ ਕਸਕ੍ਯੋ ਨ ਕਸਾਈ ॥੯੨੨॥
ਉਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ (ਪ੍ਰੀਤ) ਤੋੜੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ, (ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਦੁਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ) ਪੀੜ ਦੀ ਕਸਕ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ॥੯੨੨॥
There is no peace in the mind without him, but no pang arise in the heart of that indifferent Krishna and no pain emerges.922.

ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਮੂਹ ਨੂਰ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਹੈ ।
Guru Gobind Singh is the grace of the entire brilliance. (106)

ਹੱਕ ਹੱਕ ਆਗਾਹ ਗੁਰ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ
hak hak aagaeh guroo gobi(n)dh si(n)gh
ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੱਚ ਦੇ ਜਾਨਣ ਹਾਰਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ,
Guru Gobind Singh was the truth for the connoisseurs of truth,

ਸ਼ਾਹਿ ਸ਼ਹਨਸ਼ਾਹ ਗੁਰ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ॥ ੧੦੭ ॥
shaeh shahanashaeh guroo gobi(n)dh si(n)gh || 107 ||
ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੈ ।
Guru Gobind Singh was the king of kings. (107)

ਬਰ ਦੋ ਆਲਮ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਗੁਰ ਗੌਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ
bar dho aalam shaeh guroo gauabi(n)dh si(n)gh
ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਜਹਾਨਾ ਦਾ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੈ,
Guru Gobind Singh was the king of both the worlds,

ਖ਼ਸਮ ਰਾ ਜਾਂ-ਕਾਹ ਗੁਰ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ॥ ੧੦੮ ॥
khhasam raa jaa(n)-kaeh guroo gobi(n)dh si(n)gh || 108 ||
ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ।
And, Guru Gobind Singh was the conqueror of the enemy-lives. (108)

Guru Gobind Singh is the bestower of divine radiance.

ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੱਬੀ ਰਮਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ।
Guru Gobind Singh is the Revealer of the divine mysteries. (109)

The anxiety of both life and death are huge, cut away the noose of Death and take me across [the dreadful ocean that is the world].


ਹੌਂ ਮਤਿ ਮੰਦ ਅਨਾਥ ਹੇ ਨਾਥ ਦਰਿਦ੍ਰ ਹਰੋ ਮੁਹਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਉਬਾਰਹੁ ॥
My thinking is low and dirty, I am but an orphan, Oh my Master ! Destroy my disease and save me !

ਦਾਸ ਗੁਬਿੰਦ ਬਿਜ੍ਯ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਕੀ ਬਾਹ ਦੇ ਬਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੁਹਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਹੁ ॥੨੨੭॥੮੫੭॥੧੬੧੧॥
Says servant [Guru] Gobind [Singh], victory belongs to Satiguru [True Guru] Lord, give me your arm, give me your arm and grant me salvation !

ਹਰਿ ਸੱਚੇ ਤਖਤ ਰਚਾਇਆ ਸਤਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮੇਲਾ॥
har sa'che takhat rachaiaa sat sa(n)gat melaa||
The Lord God established the True congregation of the holy as his celestial throne.

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚਿ ਸਿਧਾਂ ਖੇਲਾ॥
naanak nirabhau nira(n)kaar vich sidhaa(n) khelaa||
Guru Nanak illuminated the Yogi Sidhs with the true form of the Fearless and Formless One.

ਗੁਰੁ ਸਿਮਰ ਮਨਾਈ ਕਾਲਕਾ ਖੰਡੇ ਕੀ ਵੇਲਾ॥
gur simar manaiee kaalakaa kha(n)dde kee velaa||
In His Tenth Form, the Guru entreated the Shakti, the Integrity by bequeathing the nectar through the double edged sword.

ਪੀਵਹੁ ਪਾਹੁਲ ਖੰਡਧਾਰ ਹੁਇ ਜਨਮੁ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ॥
peevahu paahul kha(n)ddadhaar hui janam suhelaa||
Drink the Amrit nectar of double edged Khanda sword, accomplish the worth of your birth.

ਗੁਰ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਕੀਨੀ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਮਨਮੁਖੀ ਦੁਹੇਲਾ॥
gur sa(n)gat keenee khaalasaa manamukhee dhuhelaa||

ਵਾਹ ਵਾਹ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਪੇ ਗੁਰੁ ਚੇਲਾ ॥੧॥
vaeh vaeh gobi(n)dh si(n)gh aape gur chelaa ||1||

O mother, the Guru's feet are so sweet.

ਵਡੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਦੇਵੈ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਕੋਟਿ ਫਲਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਗੁਰ ਡੀਠੇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ) ਵੱਡੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਿਲਾਪ) ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ (ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ) ਕੋ੍ਰੜਾਂ (ਪੁੰਨਾਂ ਦੇ) ਫਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ।ਰਹਾਉ।
By great good fortune, the Transcendent Lord has blessed me with them. Millions of rewards come from the Blessed Vision of the Guru's Darshan. ||Pause||

ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਤ ਅਚੁਤ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਮਦ ਢੀਠੇ ॥
ਹੇ ਮਾਂ! (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਪੈ ਕੇ) ਅਟੱਲ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਿਆਂ ਗਾਂਦਿਆਂ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਹੱਲਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਾਮ ਕੋ੍ਰਧ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ (ਆਦਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਰ) ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ 
Singing the Glorious Praises of the imperishable, indestructible Lord, sexual desire, anger and stubborn pride vanish.

ਅਸਥਿਰ ਭਏ ਸਾਚ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਬਾਹੁਰਿ ਨਹੀ ਪੀਠੇ ॥੧॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਜੇਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਤੇ) ਅਡੋਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ (ਦੀ ਚੱਕੀ) ਵਿਚ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੀਸੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ।੧।
Those who are imbued with the Love of the True Lord become permanent and eternal; birth and death do not grind them down any more. ||1||

ਬਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਭਜਨ ਰੰਗ ਰਸ ਜੇਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਦਇਆਲ ਜਾਨੇ ਸਭਿ ਝੂਠੇ ॥
ਹੇ ਮਾਂ! (ਜੇਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ) ਦਇਆ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਭਜਨ (ਦੇ ਆਨੰਦ) ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ (ਦੁਨੀਆਵੀ) ਸੁਆਦਾਂ ਤੇ ਤਮਾਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਝੂਠੇ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ 
Without the Lord's meditation, all joys and pleasures are totally false and worthless; by the Kind Mercy of the Saints, I know this.

ਨਾਮ ਰਤਨੁ ਪਾਇਓ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਹੂਨ ਚਲੇ ਸਭਿ ਮੂਠੇ ॥੨॥੮॥੨੭॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ—ਹੇ ਮਾਂ!) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ) ਰਤਨ (ਵਰਗਾ ਕੀਮਤੀ) ਨਾਮ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ । ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਸੱਖਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਜੀਵ (ਆਪਣਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ) ਲੁਟਾ ਕੇ (ਜਗਤ ਤੋਂ) ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ।੨।੮।੨੭।

ਕੋਊ ਹਰਿ ਸਮਾਨਿ ਨਹੀ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਜੀਵ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ 
There is no king equal to the Lord.

ਏ ਭੂਪਤਿ ਸਭ ਦਿਵਸ ਚਾਰਿ ਕੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਕਰਤ ਦਿਵਾਜਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਇਹ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਰਾਜੇ ਚਾਰ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ-ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਦੇ) ਝੂਠੇ ਵਿਖਾਵੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
All these lords of the world last for only a few days, putting on their false displays. ||1||Pause||

ਤੇਰੋ ਜਨੁ ਹੋਇ ਸੋਇ ਕਤ ਡੋਲੈ ਤੀਨਿ ਭਵਨ ਪਰ ਛਾਜਾ ॥
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਾਸ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ (ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ) ਘਾਬਰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ, (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ) ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਛਾਇਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ । 
How can Your humble servant waver? You spread Your shadow over the three worlds.

ਹਾਥੁ ਪਸਾਰਿ ਸਕੈ ਕੋ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਬੋਲਿ ਸਕੈ ਨ ਅੰਦਾਜਾ ॥੧॥
ਹੱਥ ਚੁੱਕਣਾ ਤਾਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਰਿਹਾ, ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਉਹ ਉੱਚਾ ਬੋਲ ਭੀ ਬੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ ।੧।
Who can raise his hand against Your humble servant? No one can describe the Lord's expanse. ||1||

ਚੇਤਿ ਅਚੇਤ ਮੂੜ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਜੇ ਅਨਹਦ ਬਾਜਾ ॥
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਗ਼ਾਫ਼ਲ ਮਨ! ਤੂੰ ਭੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰ, (ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ) ਇੱਕ-ਰਸ ਵਾਜੇ ਵੱਜਣ (ਤੇ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਘਬਰਾਹਟ ਨਾਹ ਹੋਵੇ) ।
Remember Him, O my thoughtless and foolish mind, and the unstruck melody of the sound current will resonate and resound.

ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਸੰਸਾ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਚੂਕੋ ਧ੍ਰੂ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ਨਿਵਾਜਾ ॥੨॥੫॥
ਕਬੀਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ—(ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਸਹਿਮ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਸਭ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੂੰ) ਧ੍ਰੂ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ਵਾਂਗ ਪਾਲਦਾ ਹੈ ।੨।੫।
Says Kabeer, my skepticism and doubt have been dispelled; the Lord has exalted me, as He did Dhroo and Prahlaad. ||2||5||

ਪਾਪ ਸੰਬੂਹ ਬਿਨਾਸਨ ਕਉ ਕਲਿਕੀ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਕਹਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਪਾਪਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ (ਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ) ਕਲਕੀ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਅਖਵਾਉਣਗੇ।

ਤੁਰਕਛਿ ਤੁਰੰਗ ਸਪਛ ਬਡੋ ਕਰਿ ਕਾਢਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਕੰਪਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
ਤੁਰਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਖੰਭਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਘੋੜੇ (ਉਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਢ ਕੇ ਘੁੰਮਾਣਗੇ।
For the destruction of the sins, he will be called the Kalki incarnation and mounting on a horse and taking the sword, he will destroy all

ਨਿਕਸੇ ਜਿਮ ਕੇਹਰਿ ਪਰਬਤ ਤੇ ਤਸ ਸੋਭ ਦਿਵਾਲਯ ਪਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
ਜਿਵੇਾਂ ਪਰਬਤ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਨਿਕਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਰਹਾ ਉਹ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ (ਨਿਕਲਦਿਆਂ) ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾਣਗੇ।
He will be glorious like a lion coming down from the mountain

ਭਲੁ ਭਾਗ ਭਯਾ ਇਹ ਸੰਭਲ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰਿ ਆਵਹਿਗੇ ॥੧੪੧॥
ਇਸ ਸੰਭਲ (ਸ਼ਹਿਰ) ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਭਾਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਦੇਵਾਲੇ ('ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰਿ') ਵਿਚ ਆਣਗੇ ॥੧੪੧॥
The town of Sambhal will be very fortunate because the Lord will manifest Himself there.141.

ਕਉਚ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਕਟਾਰਿ ਕਮਾਨ ਸੁਰੰਗ ਨਿਖੰਗ ਛਕਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
ਕਵਚ, ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ, ਕਟਾਰ, ਕਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੰਗ ਵਾਲਾ ਭੱਥਾ ਸਜਾਉਣਗੇ।
He will kill in very great numbers using his sword, dagger, bow, quiver and armour

ਬਰਛੀ ਅਰੁ ਢਾਲ ਗਦਾ ਪਰਸੋ ਕਰਿ ਸੂਲ ਤ੍ਰਿਸੂਲ ਭ੍ਰਮਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
ਬਰਛੀ, ਢਾਲ, ਗਦਾ, ਕੁਹਾੜੀ, ਨੇਜ਼ਾ ਅਤੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ੂਲ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਘੁੰਮਾਉਣਗੇ।
He will strike blows with his lance, mace, axe, spear, trident etc. and use his shield

ਸੇਸ ਸੁਰੇਸ ਮਹੇਸ ਗਨੇਸ ਨਿਸੇਸ ਭਲੇ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
ਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਨਾਗ, ਇੰਦਰ, ਸ਼ਿਵ, ਗਣੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਰਹਾ ਜਸ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਉਣਗੇ।
Sheshnaga, Indra, Shiva, Ganesha, Chandra, all of them will eulogise Him

ਗਣ ਭੂਤ ਪਰੇਤ ਪਿਸਾਚ ਪਰੀ ਜਯ ਸਦ ਨਿਨਦ ਸੁਨਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
ਗਣ, ਭੂਤ, ਪ੍ਰੇਤ, ਪਿਸ਼ਾਚ ਅਤੇ ਪਰੀਆਂ ਉੱਚੀ ਧੁਨ ਵਿਚ ਜੈ ਜੈਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਣਾਉਣਗੇ।
The ganas, the ghosts, fiends, imps and fairies, all of them will hail Him

ਨਰ ਨਾਰਦ ਤੁੰਬਰ ਕਿੰਨਰ ਜਛ ਸੁ ਬੀਨ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ਬਜਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
ਨਰ, ਨਾਰਦ, ਤੁੰਬਰ (ਬੀਨ ਵਾਦਕ) ਕਿੰਨਰ ਅਤੇ ਯਕਸ਼ ਬੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਬੀਨ ਵਜਾਉਣਗੇ।
Nara, Narada, Kinnars, Yakshas etc. will play on their lyres in order to welcome him

ਭਲੁ ਭਾਗ ਭਯਾ ਇਹ ਸੰਭਲ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰਿ ਆਵਹਿਗੇ ॥੧੪੫॥
ਇਸ ਸੰਭਲ (ਨਗਰ) ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਭਾਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਦੇਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਆਣਗੇ ॥੧੪੫॥
The town of Sambhal is very fortunate, where the Lord will manifest Himself.145.

ਦੁਸਟਨ ਦਾਹ ਗਰੀਬ ਨਿਵਾਜਾ ॥
(ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਗ਼ਰੀਬਾ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਹੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਜਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ!

ਹੇ ਪਾਪੋ! (ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-) ਘਰ ਵਿਚ (ਮੇਰਾ) ਕਰਤਾਰ ਆ ਵੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ (ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਚਲੇ ਜਾਵੋ ।
Run away, O sins; the Creator has entered my home.

ਦੂਤਹ ਦਹਨੁ ਭਇਆ ਗੋਵਿੰਦੁ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਇਆ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਪਰਗਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ, ਉਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਵਿਕਾਰ-ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
The demons within me have been burnt; the Lord of the Universe has revealed Himself to me.

ਪ੍ਰਗਟੇ ਗੁਪਾਲ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਲਾਲਨ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਵਖਾਣਿਆ ॥
ਤੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਜੀ (ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਪਰਗਟ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ।
The Beloved Lord of the Universe, the Lord of the World has revealed Himself; in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, I chant His Name.

ਆਚਰਜੁ ਡੀਠਾ ਅਮਿਉ ਵੂਠਾ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦੀ ਜਾਣਿਆ ॥
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ (ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਕ) ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਤਮਾਸ਼ਾ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ (ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾਮ-ਜਲ ਆ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ,
I have seen the Wondrous Lord; He showers His Ambrosial Nectar upon me, and by Guru's Grace, I know Him.

ਮਨਿ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਆਈ ਵਜੀ ਵਧਾਈ ਨਹ ਅੰਤੁ ਜਾਈ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਠੰਡ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ।
My mind is at peace, resounding with the music of bliss; the Lord's limits cannot be found.

ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਅਨਦੁ ਭਇਆ ਜੀਉ ਵਜੀ ਵਾਧਾਈ ॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ (ਹੁਣ) ਚਾਉ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਹ ਆਤਮਕ ਹਾਲਤ ਪ੍ਰਬਲ ਬਣੀ ਪਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਹੁਲਾਰੇ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ।
My mind is filled with bliss, and congratulations are pouring in.

ਘਰਿ ਲਾਲੁ ਆਇਆ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸਭ ਤਿਖਾ ਬੁਝਾਈ ॥
ਹੇ ਸਹੇਲੀਏ! (ਜਦੋਂ ਦਾ) ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਤੀ ਆ ਵੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੀ ਸਾਰੀ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ) ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਮਿਟ ਗਈ ਹੈ,

ਅਬ ਮੈ ਅਪਨੀ ਕਥਾ ਬਖਾਨੋ ॥
Now I relate my own story as to how I was brought here,

ਤਪ ਸਾਧਤ ਜਿਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਮੁਹਿ ਆਨੋ ॥
while I was absorbed in deep meditation.

ਹੇਮ ਕੁੰਟ ਪਰਬਤ ਹੈ ਜਹਾ ॥
The site was where Hemkunt mountain is.

ਸਪਤ ਸ੍ਰਿੰਗ ਸੋਭਿਤ ਹੈ ਤਹਾ ॥੧॥
The site was the mountain named Hemkunt, with seven peaks, and looks very impressive.1.

ਸਪਤ ਸ੍ਰਿੰਗ ਤਿਹ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਹਾਵਾ ॥
That mountain is called Sapt Shring, the seven-peaked mountain.

ਪੰਡੁ ਰਾਜ ਜਹ ਜੋਗੁ ਕਮਾਵਾ ॥
This is where the Pandavas practiced Yoga.

ਤਹ ਹਮ ਅਧਿਕ ਤਪੱਸਿਆ ਸਾਧੀ ॥
There, I performed self-discipline and rigorous meditation.

ਮਹਾਕਾਲ ਕਾਲਿਕਾ ਅਰਾਧੀ ॥੨॥
I was absorbed in deep meditation on the Primal Power, the Supreme Destroyer, Kal. 2.

ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਕਰਤ ਤਪਸਿਆ ਭਯੋ ॥

ਦ੍ਵੈ ਤੇ ਏਕ ਰੂਪ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਗਯੋ ॥
I became One with the Omnipotent Lord.

ਤਾਤ ਮਾਤ ਮੁਰ ਅਲਖ ਅਰਾਧਾ ॥
My parents also meditated for union with the Incomprehensible Lord.

ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਜੋਗ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਸਾਧਾ ॥੩॥
And they performed many types of worship and meditation for union. 3.

ਤਿਨ ਜੋ ਕਰੀ ਅਲਖ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ॥
The service that they rendered the Incomprehensible Lord,

ਤਾ ਤੇ ਭਏ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਗੁਰਦੇਵਾ ॥
caused the pleasure of the Supreme Guru.

ਤਿਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜਬ ਆਇਸ ਮੁਹਿ ਦੀਆ ॥

ਤਬ ਹਮ ਜਨਮ ਕਲੂ ਮਹਿ ਲੀਆ ॥੪॥
I was born in this Age of Darkness. 4.

ਚਿਤ ਨ ਭਯੋ ਹਮਰੋ ਆਵਨ ਕਹ ॥
I had no desire to come,

ਚੁਭੀ ਰਹੀ ਸ੍ਰੁਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਚਰਨਨ ਮਹ ॥
I was totally absorbed in devotion at the Holy feet of the Lord.

ਜਿਉ ਤਿਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਮ ਕੋ ਸਮਝਾਯੋ ॥
But the Lord made me understand His Will.

ਇਮ ਕਹਿ ਕੈ ਇਹ ਲੋਕਿ ਪਠਾਯੋ ॥੫॥
Convincing me this way, he sent me to this world. 5.
