ਨਮਸਤੁਲ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮੇ ਸਮਸਤੁਲ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਸੇ ॥
ਸਭਨਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਮਸਕਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ (ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ) ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਸੰਘਾਰਕ ਹੈ, ਨਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ,
Salutation to Thee O Most Venerated and Destroyer of all Lord!

ਅਗੰਜੁਲ ਅਨਾਮੇ ਸਮਸਤੁਲ ਨਿਵਾਸੇ ॥
ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਦਾ ਹੈ।
Salutation to Thee O Indestructible, Nameless and All-Pervading Lord!

ਨ੍ਰਿਕਾਮੰ ਬਿਭੂਤੇ ਸਮਸਤੁਲ ਸਰੂਪੇ ॥
ਕਾਮਨਾਵਾ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਸੰਪੱਤੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮ ਹੈ)।
Salutation to Thee O Desireless, Glorious and All-Pervading Lord!

ਕੁਕਰਮੰ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਸੀ ਸੁਧਰਮੰ ਬਿਭੂਤੇ ॥੧੯੭॥
ਉਹ ਕੁਕਰਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਧਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਸਜਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੯੭॥
Salutation to Thee O Destroyer of Evil and Illuminator of Supreme Piety Lord! 197.

ਸਦਾ ਸੱਚਿਦਾਨੰਦ ਸੱਤ੍ਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਸੀ ॥
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ) ਸਦਾ ਚੇਤਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਨੰਦ-ਸਰੂਪ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
Salutation to Thee O Perpetual Embodiment of Truth, Consciousness and Bliss and Destroyer of enemies Lord!

ਕਰੀਮੁਲ ਕੁਨਿੰਦਾ ਸਮਸਤੁਲ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ॥
(ਤੂੰ) ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਕਰਨਹਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਵਿਚ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
Salutation to Thee O Gracious Creator and All-Pervading Lord!

ਅਜਾਇਬ ਬਿਭੂਤੇ ਗਜਾਇਬ ਗਨੀਮੇ ॥
(ਤੂੰ) ਅਦਭੁਤ ਸੰਪੱਤੀ ਵਾਲਾ, ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾ ਉਤੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਢਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ,
Salutation to Thee O Wonderful, Glorious and Calamity for enemies Lord!

ਹਰੀਅੰ ਕਰੀਅੰ ਕਰੀਮਲੁ ਰਹੀਮੇ ॥੧੯੮॥
ਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸਿਰਜਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੯੮॥
Salutation to Thee O Destroyer, Creator, Gracious and Merciful Lord! 198.

ਚੱਤ੍ਰ ਚੱਕ੍ਰ ਵਰਤੀ ਚੱਤ੍ਰ ਚੱਕ੍ਰ ਭੁਗਤੇ ॥
ਚੌਹਾ ਚੱਕਾ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਚਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਚੌਹਾ ਚੱਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਗਣ ਵਾਲਾ,
Salutation to Thee O Pervader and Enjoyer in all the four directions Lord!

ਸੁਯੰਭਵ ਸੁਭੰ ਸਰਬਦਾ ਸਰਬ ਜੁਗਤੇ ॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਸ਼ੋਭਾਇਮਾਨ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ;
Salutation to Thee O Self-Existent, Most Beautiful and United with all Lord!

ਦੁਕਾਲੰ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਸੀ ਦਿਆਲੰ ਸਰੂਪੇ ॥
ਬੁਰੇ ਸਮੇਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਆਲੂ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ;

ਸਦਾ ਅੰਗ ਸੰਗੇ ਅਭੰਗੰ ਬਿਭੂਤੇ ॥੧੯੯॥

ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
Bilaaval, Fifth Mehla:

ਤਾਤੀ ਵਾਉ ਨ ਲਗਈ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆਂ (ਵਿਆਧੀਆਂ ਦਾ) ਸੇਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ । 
The hot wind does not even touch one who is under the Protection of the Supreme Lord God.

ਚਉਗਿਰਦ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਰਾਮ ਕਾਰ ਦੁਖੁ ਲਗੈ ਨ ਭਾਈ ॥੧॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਇਕ ਲਕੀਰ ਹੈ (ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਕੋਈ ਦੁੱਖ ਪੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ ।੧।
On all four sides I am surrounded by the Lord's Circle of Protection; pain does not afflict me, O Siblings of Destiny. ||1||

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਜਿਨਿ ਬਣਤ ਬਣਾਈ ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਦਵਾਈ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੋਗ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ) ਵਿਓਂਤ ਬਣਾ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਪੂਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ (ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ) ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ 
I have met the Perfect True Guru, who has done this deed.

ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਦੀਆ ਏਕਾ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਦਵਾਈ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਜੋੜੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
He has given me the medicine of the Lord's Name, and I enshrine love for the One Lord. ||1||Pause||

ਰਾਖਿ ਲੀਏ ਤਿਨਿ ਰਖਨਹਾਰਿ ਸਭ ਬਿਆਧਿ ਮਿਟਾਈ ॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਆਖ—(ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਿਆ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਉਸ ਰੱਖਣਹਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ, (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਹਰੇਕ ਰੋਗ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, 
The Savior Lord has saved me, and eradicated all my sickness.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਭਈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਏ ਸਹਾਈ ॥੨॥੧੫॥੭੯॥
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਮਦਦਗਾਰ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ।੨।੧੫।੭੯।
Says Nanak, God has showered me with His Mercy; He has become my help and support. ||2||15||79||
