This one started off as a Dnb Track but I slowed it down to 134bpm. Therefore it shares a lot of Dnb Characteristics (sound choice and mixdown) but much slower tempo, likening it to genres such as Garage and Electronica. About 'Ready For Love':
It's an old lovechild that I carried with me since 2019, where it was only a vibey stringloop with some liquid drums. I always felt there was something special about it, and tried many different approaches to where it could go. When I stumbled upon some vocals for the tune, I just felt the right direction, heading towards a not at all liquid but rather harder hitting melodic drop, and that was the answer to where the tune should go. Countless sessions later it's here in its final form, which I'm incredibly happy about.
