The first representing this “new” sound for us is Umut Akalin with his Smoke Machines & Laser Rays EP, this is the perfect choice as the EP represents exactly what we’re talking about. Title track Smoke Machines & La ser Rays is the perfect mix of Nu Disco, Deep House Bass & Garage. Bumping along with it’s high end zaps, lush key changes, pads, strings and a killer vocal which for us stinks of summer nights dancing in hazed out smokey rooms. Next up is Umut’s first single with us from our Future Sleaze series Forever You & Me. This track is such an amazing piece, pure musicality and deep throbbin’ sexiness. The amazing vocals will truly take you away with it’s love story and instant flowing hypnotic synths. Sleazy Deep artists Saccao & Lou Van decided to team up next for their remix of Smoke Machines & Laser Rays. Taking a sexier & nu skool turn with its lush guitar licks, smooth bass and sleazy deep feel. Marco Tegui is a name popping up on many labels now, his deep house sound is catching the attention of many and it’s not surprising why, deep & sophisticated house music at it’s finest. His first r emix for us is Forever You & Me taking a much deeper club approach to the original with it’s heavy hitting bass, pianos and keys keeping the mood just right for the vocals. Tamer Akgul steps in for Smoke Machines & Laser Rays next with his big bass & nu disco deep edge providing another perfect version of a great track. Back to Forever You & Me and the HUGE talents of our Sleazy G main man, Vanilla Ace! Expect a UK bass house vibe this time around perfect for the modern floors of today. Marco’s back now taking Smoke Machines & Laser Rays into Tegui’s deeper world of house. Big phat bass and organs riding along lush strings to accompany the vocal perfectly. Su pasión por la música comenzó en el año 2009 cuando descubrió a John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo y Sasha, entre otros referentes, atraído por los sonidos del organic house, progressive house y Break Beat.

BERDU / Bio: José Berdugo, aka BERDU es un Dj y Productor Musical oriundo de Barranquilla, Colombia, radicado en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Su pasión por la música comenzó en el año 2009 cuando descubrió a John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo y Sasha, entre otros referentes, atraído por los sonidos del organic house, progressive house y Break Beat. En el 2022 comenzó a estudiar producción, gracias a todo este camino recorrido, BERDU ha podido crear producciones musicales con delicadas melodías, grooves hipnóticos, atmósferas espaciales, y siempre acompañados de ritmos percusivos; sin dudas, un sonido muy esperado en las pistas del progressive house en la actualidad.

We return to the fabled lands of Argentina, with a DJ now residing in Mexico. It's here where our guest has found the spotlight with his skills and crowd raising abilities. Please make some noise, for CASNIK! 

Casnik (Nicolás Castillo) is an Argentine DJ/ Producer, originally from City Bell, La Plata. Since he was a child he felt music in a special way. Nicolas began to experience everything he felt inside through movement, like Michael Jackson, taking dance classes and going through various musical genres to learn the essence of each one and understand the different states of mind.

During 2019, Casnik shared the booth at events with top-level national artists such as Elio Riso, Jay de Lys, Bodeler, Matias Sundblad, LeFrak, among others. He has also had a leading role in booths in other cities such as San Pedro, Mercedes, Azul, Tandil, Olavarria, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Pinamar and Monte Hermoso.

In 2020 is where he began to connect with new genres such as Progressive House and Melodic House.

In 2021 Nicolas moved to Tulum, where he began to open new horizons and continue to fulfill his goals, playing in clubs in Playa del Carmen, Holbox and Tulum. It was here he had the pleasure of being part of the line up with international DJs such as the Pan Pot duo, Roy Rosenfeld, Marcel Dettman, Armen Miran, Sam Sure, Gux Gimenez, Adi Dassler among others.

In 2023, he focused on his development in the world of music production with releases in Mango Alley, Balkan Connection, Sunexplosion, 3rd Avenue among others, something he continues to be involved in to this day!

In the late 00s, he has worked as music director at iconic clubs as Halikarnas, Hadigari, Catamaran, at Bodrum, Mansion in Cyprus, owned nights in Pacha, and MOS in London.

Umut, who has taken his career one step further with the albums he released under the names Umut Akalin, Jay Dee and Mao Mak in recent years. He had the opportunity to work with some of the names such as Timo Garcia, Saccao, and Fabricio Pecanha, Enzo Siffredi, Vanilla Ace, and Rafael Cerato, Marco Tegui, Moe Turk.

A mission statement that strives to sign music, “evoking emotion and anticipation through the use of an electronic music narrative; the combination of carefully constructed rhythm and melody, with the addition of vocals and cutting edge production, are fundamental tenets of the Dialtone philosophy.”
