Its been around four years since each of them last released an EP with us, and this marks their first collaborative outing on the label, and judging by the results, we certainly hope it wont be the last. Both Abrakadabra and Kesem are straightforward dance floor material. Abrakadabra delivers a groovy, playful stomp, while Kesem unfolds around a recurring melodic theme that each time releases the horses for a gallop so to speak. One Million Toys steps in with a remix of Abrakadabra, bringing his signature sound production precision and no-nonsense progression to close out this release. Enjoy!

First live session I made with a lot of midi toys. Recorded in my studio with Ableton 9, Live NanoKontrol2, Xponent M-Audio and Axiom 49. You can hear some live touches by me which I think is much more ''Magical'' kind off than a prepared set with all kind of fixes. Some mistakes here and there make it really sound like music. In this session You will hear some released and a lot of unreleased(!!) stuff from me, lots of Digital Structures music and my favorite tunes for the moment. As usual - we start deep tech style and getting higher and higher. Have fun!

This week we are happy to welcome Change Things!

Change Things is a new project by "Diamandy" focusing on the melodic and house styles.

His musical path has been one of academia, dedication, passion, and discipline. Starting as a humble music enthusiast, he acquired a robust classical music education. Later, he was captivated by electronic music's profound philosophical dimensions. 
His obsession fueled his experimentation, blending melodic, progressive and minimalist elements that came to define his signature sound.
As a result of his development, a new project was born with an intriguing name ‘’Change Things’’ where the focus is on the melodic and house aspects of Kirill’s music.
His journey features notable collaborations with idols like Stan Kolev, D-Nox & Beckers, James Monro, GMJ, and MVMB, consistently charting with releases. The Elegant Sadness EP, featuring Stan Kolev’s remix, hit number 1 on Beatport’s Progressive House chart. 
His sets are groovy, full of heart and harmony, always in sync with the environment, with a strong presence as a performer.  

Change Things have a release on Manual Music, and a new release coming out on Beat Boutique music.

Friday Lights Music is starting 2017 with a huge rave oriented release by label’s manager and rising star ‘Diamandy’. 2 tough originals with big kicks, deep basses, dirty loops and acid atmosphere introducing Diamandy’s experience and vision from a rave scene of wintery and dark Sweden. The ultra deep bass remix from local producer ‘Bäcksvart’ is giving diversity to this techno EP.
‘Rave Pulse’ is a dirty looped marching techno monster for dark rooms and night time festivals as one. The special catch in this track is that it is not stopping for a second. It has everything that the underground scene in Sweden suggests: the darkness, the dirt, the aggression and the eternal movement. The drop is a real surprise - after a massive build-up the pulse is hitting back with a twist and pumping till the end.

"Dreaming Awake is a new techno/house record label run by Los Angeles based DJ and Producer Treavor Moontribe. As co-founder of the legendary Moontribe full moon desert raves back in 1993, co-owner of the eclectic label Desert Trax and former A&R/Label Manager at INgrooves distribution, Treavor is no stranger to the ever evolving dance music industry.

The second release on Dreaming Awake features the track “Elegant Sadness” by Swedish/Israeli producer Diamandy. The original track is a deep driving melodic techno track that eventually leads to an absolutely beautiful emotional melodic lead hook. When label boss Treavor Moontribe first heard the beautiful melody that is the basis of the track he knew right away this was gonna be something special. This lead to him reaching out to the management for world famous Progressive House mastermind Stan Kolev about coming on board for a remix. 

Being a new label it was certainly an amazingly great surprise when a very positive response came from Stans manager with an agreement to do the remix. Of course Stan delivered a remix for the ages, a blasting Progressive House track that takes the melodic hook to an entirely new level. This track is a hands in the air, crowd screaming in joy monster that sets the dance floor on fire every time! 

With Stan Kolev on board, it was time to find the perfect up and coming producer to compliment the release as a big goal of Dreaming Awake is to bring forth new producers who are making waves. Dj and Producers Marbs of the world famous Desert Hearts crew from California was exactly the right man for the job! The remix Marbs delivered is a super grooving melodic techno track that gives us that deep night time sound that the Desert Hearts festivals are so well known for. The melodic hook once again shine thru here along with the tech baseline and percussive elements. "

Diamandy's musical path has been one of academia, dedication, passion, and discipline. One of listening, preparation, and courage to explore.
His story begins as a humble disciple in the vast realm of music, acquiring a robust classical music education and then continuing his quest for knowledge in Israel as a teenager. There, he was exposed to a massive electronic music culture and became hooked on the profound philosophical dimensions it offers the mind.
This obsessive exploration led him to experiment and blend melodic, progressive, and minimalistic compositions together - leading to paving his identity within two genres that are symbolic of his music: Psychedelic techno/minimal house and progressive, melodic techno/house. Today, he is characterized by others as a pioneer and a mover within the Psychedelic tech and minimal sound space within Scandinavia - which has been his home for the last decade. Diamandy is humbled to have collaborated with those he has idolized. A stroke of dedication and good fortune led him to discover that one of his inspirations, Perfect Stranger (Yuli Fershtat) played his track in the USA, to which Diamandy rapidly expressed his gratitude. Yuli's response was 'Good track, bad sound, let's meet' encapsulated the essence of their relationship, recognizing a spark of genius while keeping it grounded in reality. It has become a lesson and value that Diamandy lives by - one of nurturing one's craft through consistent learning and pushing norms. 
Today, Diamandy can name-drop an impressive list of collaborations, labels, gigs, and achievements, but they have all come through his approach of study and respect for the craft. He's a welcomed guest in the houses of leading labels such as lboga Records, Alpaka Records, Digital Structures, Sprout Records, and Techgnosis Records. The list of achievements continues, but at the sentiment of it all, is Diamandy's dedication to meaningful narrative creation.
