Crazy Junker (M.RUX EDIT)- Ornette & Dupree

This album documents my 2024. Stroke at the beginning of the year. The nine tracks were written during the reconstruction. The studio became the space to relearn how to piece ideas together. Each session, one more step out of the void. Electronic pulsations translating the passage from one state to another. Music was my language before. It became it again after. In between: Limbo: Limbos.

Dead Combo is one of the most amazing musical groups coming out of my hometown, Lisbon. I wanted to remix their music for a long time now but never had the courage until a couple of months ago. And here it is. I hope you like it. This is some kind of western-slow-house-music built around the amazing guitar riffs of Tó Trips and the deep double bass by Pedro Gonçalves. All tracks of the EP are accompanied by Idil Meşe's soft as summer rain vocals and lyrics rhyming on stories of streets.
 
The EP will be released under Kanto Records label, the newly established contemporary platform focused primarily on experimental music and the arts, founded by Oceanvs Orientalis himself.
 
Featuring many esteemed musicians such as Ilhan Ersahin, Idil Mese, Hasan Gozetlik and Ali Ceyhun Kartalsuna, "General Tales of Ordinary Madness" EP consists four tracks, recorded over a year in New York and Istanbul.

This track is less of our own invention, more of a tool we’ve made to make you dance. The original version a little over two minutes long and hence - it’s practically unmixable in traditional DJ sets. That being said - in’s far from a simple case of loop-it-here’n’there. - we’ve put some extra love in it as well!
