BALL AND CHAIN tells the story of being in a controlling relationship with double standards and lies when it comes to love and the realization that it's time to break-free and move- on with one’s life.
On June 20, 2023, this song made the prestigious US Top 20 Show- The Weekly Pulse of Music at No. 18, and was No. 4 on the World Indie Top 100 Music Chart rankings. Although "Daughter of Ukraine/A Plea to Heaven" is an emotional and valuable piece, born from the depths of my soul and inspired by the pain and hope of our people, it stirs many emotions in me, but "the thrill" is not among them. This song is a tribute to all those who have sacrificed their lives and those who continue to fight for a better future.

"Daughter of Ukraine/A Plea to Heaven" is a testament to sacrifice, hope, and the ongoing struggle for peace and stability. It is an emotional prayer and a call to human conscience. The relationship between the master and the horse in contrast with God, symbolizing the negotiations and sacrifices made for loved ones, culminates in the master’s decision to offer themselves as the ultimate sacrifice. I want this song to be a reminder of our strength and resilience, and a cry for help for all those who suffer in silence.

The end of the song aims to awaken the invaders' consciousness to responsibility and bring the much-awaited peace. It is a powerful and shocking appeal for justice and peace.
