Hyper Real is the travelling and musically global club and music format of Michail Stangl aka Opium Hum. Between his work as one of the programme makers and presenters of Boiler Room and as one of the curators of the CTM Festival, Hyper Real experiments with the boundaries and possibilities of modern electronic music between Hardcore Continuum and the new generation of post-internet sound. For the guest performance at transit we invite you to 2 floors with the breakbeat and jungle heroes of the moment, Denham Audio (Club Glow / UK), Opium Hum b2b Arnii (Fuchs2 / Prague) and Macrosoft (Berlin) in the hall and next to our resident em.ævi, Lindos XP and Sova (Objekt klein a / Palais Palett) in the basement.

Drawing inspiration from the timeless sounds of House and the infectious grooves of Italo Disco, jon bouvier infuses his sets with a distinct flair, trying to create an experience with a wide range of musical influences. 
As the turntables spin, he tries to create a harmonious blend of old-school charm and cutting-edge tracks.

He can often be found with his twin brother behind the turntables. Les Bouviers love to balance between genres. From disco to breakbeat, from house to italo. Everything may happen, as long as it makes the bodies move and the faces grin.

jon bouvier started his musical journey as a DJ in Berlin but developed his sound in Dresden. For over 5 years the Dresdener by choice has been actively involved in the electronic music scene - whether at illegal raves, independent festivals, in clubs or as co-founder and resident of @fragmenteddigital

Cafgar is a DJ from Quito, Ecuador invaded by two influences and musical scenes. The electronic music structures and rhythms and melodies of Latin American genres especially cumbia and Dembow (boom-ch-boom-chk). His style combines organic sounds and synthesizers accompanied by bass and groove. Cafgar also organizes Latin-American music events in Leipzig. Enjoy the journey.

simsonabim is involved in a variety of projects going on in Cologne and nearby. He is part of the draußen verlaufen & minha galera crew, who are well known for their outdoor events and parties, belongs to the team of La Ranzeria, a small, cozy location in Mülheim which is really true to its name, and organizes raves in Cologne´s secret new venue somewhere near Hürth. We are glad that he still found some time to record this mix for us! Highly recommended for a sunny, and/or hungover day at the park, that’s what Simon had in mind when mixing.
