the little things bring me comfort. the sunset i saw yesterday, the birds chirping this morning, looking at the endless waves moving around without any destination, biking home and feeling the wind press against my face.

taking comfort in the late summer evenings that i spend by the ocean by myself

when everything falls apart, I like to lie back and close my eyes, where time unspools and scenes unravel, a slow-motion reel of moments that never asked to be remembered. I wonder why we tend to forget what’s really important to us and get lost so badly that we can’t find the way back home, while searching for something that’s not there anymore. you give and I take. that’s the truth of this moment, unfolding right before me, while I’m typing with my tired hands on this keyboard that has witnessed all kinds of emotions. moving through motions, like colors transitioning into one another, creating a breathtaking piece of art.
