03 Since I Fell For You

This is a song I wrote inspired by a painting in my living room by an artist named "Vetriano".  It's titled: Allegedly for a dead Admiral.  I was in my first home on my own after leaving my 20 year marriage.  The painting had a significant meaning in my relationship with my ex-husband.  We had a disagreement over the phone that night and as I hung up the phone, very frustrated, I looked up and saw that painting on the wall.  It's of a woman alone at a table on the beach surrounded by musicians.  It was a moment filled with irony for me at the time.  I wrote this song in 10 minutes.  It literally poured out of me.  I am honored to be joined by Ian Lamsom on slide guitar.
