The low quality and vintage sound of the track gives a feeling of being in a phone call; in this case, in a call with oneself. “so much better” embodies the feeling of missing something from the past and complaining about it due to a dream, which the songwriter and the singer of the song, Cheshire, describes as experiences from her former school. The dream Cheshire had gave way for the song to be written and recorded as soon as possible, allowing her to release it the earliest among the other tracks from “before Below Bass.”

The much cleaner feeling that the track gives symbolizes the feeling while listening to oneself’s voice, crisp and clear. “so much better” embodies the feeling of missing something from the past and complaining about it due to a dream, which the songwriter and the singer of the song, Cheshire, describes as experiences from her former school. The dream Cheshire had gave way for the song to be written and recorded in the form of the imagined version of the song as soon as possible, allowing her to release it the earliest among the other tracks from “before Below Bass.”

“Protacio” is the third track off of “before Below Bass,” an EP-mixtape by Filipina singer-songwriter Cheshire of HEVACY. The track revolves around missing one’s former school and reminiscing on how a group of people played such a big part in one’s life. The song was named “Protacio” due to the name of the person Cheshire’s former school was named after, Dr. Jose Rizal. Protacio is also the hero’s name next to Jose. The track starts with an audio recording from the demo of the song that was given a seemingly old record effect and finished with a fresh feeling one gets when standing in an open area, “in a bigger space,” like what was sung in the song.

“a doll for your pride” is the fourth track off of “before Below Bass,” an EP-mixtape by Filipina singer-songwriter Cheshire of HEVACY. The song covers the feeling of being some people’s pride and only being so, causing some rebellious thoughts. This song is a seemingly good opposite for “I’m Proud,” which was a sequellike track for this song. “a doll for your pride” also showcases distorted and gritty choruses and outro. The vocals of the artist were also made to sound brave and rebellious as to complement the lyrics and the feel.

“I’m Proud” is the fourth track off of “before Below Bass,” an EP-mixtape by Filipina singer-songwriter Cheshire of HEVACY. This family-oriented song was the empathic song of “before Below Bass” as it starts with a verse of what a mother or father might be thinking when they are labeled annoying or ignorant. After the chorus that says the parent is proud of the child, the second verse shows a child’s tough thoughts, more like a teen’s. The thoughts then turn into loving words as the strong persona made by the child slowly melts away. “I’m Proud” has transitions in between old phone call-like tracks and non-imagined sounds.

“Sincere Lies” is the first and lead track off of “Sincere Lies” Original Soundtrack by Filipina singer-songwriter Cheshire of HEVACY. The track has a lo-fi feel with its piano melodies. This was paired with the advanced sounds of a drum machine upon Cheshire’s experiments for a new sound. The song describes the story of how the protagonist and her love interest met in Town in a Building, the main setting of the story. Despite being strangers, the characters fell in love with each other, bringing the story and soundtrack to life.

“Capitalize” is the second track off of “Sincere Lies” Original Soundtrack by Filipina singer-songwriter Cheshire of HEVACY. The track started with layers of vocals singing the first half of the chorus. With an amplified guitar and acoustic drums, Cheshire continued with more guitar-sounding tracks. “Capitalize” was inspired by the thought the protagonist told her love interest that he should capitalize his I’s because he is worth capitalizing for. The song also talks about the joys of being in love.

“name: i” is the third track off of “Sincere Lies” Original Soundtrack by Filipina singer-songwriter Cheshire of HEVACY.  With a teleportationlike transition after the first half of the song and with knocks on the door, the track felt atmospheric and imagined yet non-imagined at the same time due to the advanced drum machine used. The track also started with layers of vocals singing two-thirds of the chorus, just like in “Capitalize” and “i’d still—.” The song represents the feeling of wanting a slightly different life with a different name. Talking about heartbreak and life, the song “will be explained more in the latter part of the book.”

“ngunit” is the fourth track off of “Sincere Lies” Original Soundtrack and the first Filipino song by Filipina singer-songwriter Cheshire of HEVACY. The track is the simplest track among all the songs on the original soundtrack with only an amplified guitar and reverberated vocals. The simplicity symbolizes the sincerity of love the protagonist had for her love interest. “ngunit” reminisces over the past, longing for it to happen all over again. The song also asks questions like whether moving on should be done for a freshly wounded heart.

“i’d still—” is the fifth and last track off of “Sincere Lies” Original Soundtrack by Filipina singer-songwriter Cheshire of HEVACY. The track started with layers of vocals like in “name: i” and “Capitalize.” The track also features an amplified guitar with an increasing volume of the sounds of the bass drum as the song progresses, representing the constant increase of emotions heartbreak brings. Ending the song with vocals only, Cheshire sang about wanting to have one’s heart broken than living without them. Reminiscence also played an important part in the song like in the whole soundtrack.
