Born February 17th, 1987, Anthony "Slim" Dorch, youngest of 5 boys hails all the way from Brooklyn Ny. As a "Bedstuy"baby, prone to the fast lifestyles of the "D-boys" on the block. His Mother< made a wise decision to move the family to a slower paced enviornment , where he remains in Montgomery,Al. District 3 resident, Slim found himself on the North Side of the city in housing projects Trenholm Ct. There he attended grade school at Head elementary,though Patterson was a few blocks from the projects,he along with his brother would catch a school bus to the eastside. After a few years in the bricks, here was another transition. Sheridan Heights, also known as "The Jungle" was his final mark. Growing up Slim's older brother was deep into the local rap scene. Slim slowly adapted a talent for rhyming and replacing other rappers words with his while he listened to his radio. Bored with that quickly, he began to write down his own rhymes. Little did he know this "rapbook" would take him on a journey to success. His Talent slowly developed into a habit. Attending school with homework, tests, and projects due all the while in class jotting the latest bars that came to mind. He was always an intelligent kid, even in gifted programs throughout the years.Slim just got bored with things easily, and when he did...Music filled that emptiness.Antisocial and numb to the world, his trust was in his lyrics. Cyphering around friends and schoolmates encouraged the young boy to take the art form more seriously.Later joining talents with childhood friend "Trap",and schoolmate"Big killa."This spark of undeniable talent unleashed envy and hate,even within his circle. Long story short, altercations arose where Slim recieved a bullet wound below his knee,from a vehicle fleeing the scene. This gave him time to see whom was who, and what he should do next. Retaliation was the first thought "honestly," but the world of hurt it would take his mother through was unbearable. After all she moved from NY to avoid this type situation in the first place.Blood boiling with revenge and hate Slim was at a spiraling downfall into a stage of complete disregard for anything. Once again,forgetting what got him into the situation"the rapbook", was his last result. Fueled by the deception of those closest, Slim put faith in his rap and never looked back. "If niggas hate my music that bad, that they gotta shoot me,i guess im doing something right," he says while lacing up his Red Chuck Taylors. Over a decade in the hood transformed "slim" into who he is today. "ESCO" erasing, stereotypes,creating opportunities. On a path to success, offering to take whoever is willing to come.Releasing his first Solo project" Tha Leak" early October, due to a lost of files. The twist of Northern Gritty-ness, and southern hospitality, combined to form one hell of an artist.
