Phuture Doom... that's a name I haven't heard in a long time...

Back in 2016 I had my friend Tom (@northernplastix) make a remix of the Ace Of Base classic "The Sign" to play at my very first ever live show. I paid him $10 and specifically told him to do a pisstake impression of some Renard shit because i thought that was funny. He sent it back to me as a 320 mp3 with the artist name "RENNY REMMLER GOES TO JAIL", and I played it as the last track of my show at THUNDERDOME 2016. Sadly, shortly after all this, Tom passed away after a lifelong battle with mental illness. Ever since then I've tried to play this remix out as often as I can at live shows in his memory, but as I sit here thinking about it now, it feels wrong that I have a piece of Tom's history as an artist that I'm keeping to myself. So in the interest of honoring his memory I'm putting it up here as a free download. I hope you enjoy it and can hear how much fun he had making it.

About: This was a collaboration Danni and I had started and never finished due to her passing. Original files required for me to reopen this project no longer exist and so im sharing the latest render of the project which has been sitting for almost a year. For awhile it was really hard for me to work on this song and even now just hearing it brings back some of those emotions. The 2nd half of the song acted as sort of an outpour as i processed over the few weeks following and i hope it lives up to Danni and the stage she set up. I tried to use as much resource material from Danni as possible in the 2nd half.
