Greetings to everyone!

The 3rd and a bit overdue chapter of "Enchantments" is finally completed and ready to be told. This one is a winter story on the verge of the transition to the newly arrived spring season. "Slow Burn" - the first of the two complementary mixes is a slowly paced but gradually evolving experience exploring the moodier and more mystical side of our musical story. On the other hand the second one - "Nightshades", offers an even deeper, darker immersive atmosphere that easily engages together as one mind, body and soul. As previously said - it is an amalgamation of hypnotic rhythms and percussions, captivating melodies and anything else that is essential for an "Enchantment" to succeed the re-creation of the vibe of a true Dance Ritual!

Episode 82 is brought to you by super talented, Spanish born, Trondheim based dj/producer @pedro_sanmartin.

Pedro Sanmartin creates vibrant landscapes on his mixes and productions mixing a wide range of styles, techno and house in all its branches, electro, breaks, there is no borderlines when it comes the time to deliver what it's needed. Well known Dj and producer in his hometown, Barcelona. He started playing and producing in the late 90's with different collectives and net labels from the city. In 2006 he moves to Frankfurt, Germany, where he started playing professionally, after playing for two years at different clubs around the country like 603m, Tanzhaus West, Club4 among others, he returned to Barcelona to expand his professional career. There he created the label “Munitmusic” with his friends Stereonoise, Onicrom and Bombjack . A digital music-label in which they could express their own vision of underground electronic music and have a rst contact with the music industry.  He has also released music in other labels on a national and international levels such as Envy music (SP), Crossfade Records (BE), Sonidos Distintos (SP) , microdigital (Po) Del Sol Music (US) among others while he delivered dj-sets and live acts in places such; Razzmatazz, Macarena, Becool, Electrobeach festival, Cau d’orella Festival, Otto zuttz, Insomnia among others. Nowadays based in Trondheim Norway he creates his own club concept “Yes It’s Loud Enough” revolutionizing the electronic scene of a city on which genre of music was practically non-existent. His last releases at Sonidos Distintos have had the support of artists such as Pablo Bolivar, Angel Molina, Laurent Garnier, Sasse, Sam Divine, Mirco Violi, Nicson, Nick Holder, Tim Byrne among others great artist and broadcasted on different radio show around the globe.

Picture dreamy progressive melodies, powerful tribal rhythms and driving grooves, versatile hypnotic chants originating from all across the globe by all kinds of cultures and ethnicities, captivating male and female vocals spreading messages from heart and soul, “singing” instruments adding up to the mix of emotions evoked in every possible way! The picture yourself under the stars, or in a rainforest, on top of the world witnessing the burning sky over a sunset, around the fire or anywhere your imagination brings you to dance your heart out... that’s the type of fusion this concept is all about! Heavily influenced since childhood by legendary electronic music bands such as The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Lamb, Massive Attack, Underworld, Aphex Twin, Orbital, Hybrid, Way Out West, Global Communication and then pioneers such as Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Anthony Pappa, Danny Tenaglia, Satoshi Tomiie, Frankie Knuckles, Kerri Chandler, Larry Heard a.k.a. Mr. Fingers, Josh Wink, Kevin Saunderson to name but a few... I felt true attraction, discovered and ultimately fell completely in love with the DJ-craft or as I like to call it "the art of musical storytelling". It's been almost 25 years since this love runs through my veins and keeps growing as it's been fuelled by the incomparable feeling of sharing those inner experiences with like-minded people and fellow music lovers.

About my work – attention to detail in order to attain perfection in my studio mixes and live sets. I'm always looking for innovation and diversity. Trying to make a difference and leave my mark by always presenting something new, perceived as "outside the box", something that doesn't necessarily appeals to the masses but for those who share a deeper understanding and appreciation for the music in its richness. That is why my sets combine multiple flavors of carefully chosen underground electronic sound. Perfectionism concerning mix and music selection has always been a must and it can be easily sensed in my work, particularly when it comes to my studio projects. In other words, by following the latest currants of the vast field of my beloved electronic music while also by always recalling past moments of its long history that lead me to what I am presently, my focus goes to extracting the best material and putting it into a memorable musical trip that comes from the heart and shouldn't let you stay indifferent...
