This is a french rap I wrote as a reply to some prick on some french music website who posted a shitty stupid track - which is not a problem per se - but claiming that, basically, before him, there was no poetry and he is the first one to discover the concept of 'assonance'. Yet, his song was so lame, it's unbelievable...

I would have left it pass by if he didn't have this outrageous attitude toward a whole history of poets and writers who have been creating masterpieces for hundreds of years and whom I have an eternal respect... So I posted those lyrics and this track as a reply to his comments... and he just kept deleting them, forcing me to post it again, just cos I enjoy pissing people off sometimes, especially stupid people.

Anyway, here are the lyrics, and I wonder what Google would make out of it hahaha...

Original Fools - OFU BBQ

As part of the Uprooted Sunshine, Shanghai's oldest reggae soundsystem, i'm lucky enough to travel and make music with good people all over the world.

This track was recorded in 2011 when we took a bus from China to Kazakhstan to take part in Almaty by Bus, big reggae event organized by Jammin' Bus Soundystem. Over there, we met N-ShtaiN, producer for The Alcatraz, live band playing hip-hop/reggae/dubstep music in Almaty, and we spent a few days recording music with him and the singers from their band. This song is one of them.

It features Didjelirium and Esia from the Uprooted Sunshine as well as The Alcatraz, with lyrics in english, french and russian !

If you wanna see and hear more about this crazy trip, feel free to check the documentary online and meet those who are pushing reggae music in a place where nobody was expecting it, proving once more how international reggae music is.

Thanks to the laws of time and space and the fact chinese people bought the best location on Earth so that the rule the eastern hours - well, still beaten by the japanese but hey, can't have it all.... anyway, it's midnight in Shanghai right now and i teleport my comrade Kroak with me so that we can post our collaboration right here, right now !!!

This is a spontaneous collaboration that happened after i've listened to Yu-Chi's emotional guitar and found somehow the sufficient sadness inside me to lay down some words on his music.

Be sure to check his profile if you feel like experiencing some mind-soothing vibrations. I've 'met' him through the Soundclouder of the Day group (because we both were hihihi) and i'm quite happy I did cos his music is simple yet profund and touching. Really japanese in a way, with all the admiration I have for this country, and I always picture myself over there when i hear the chords he plays.

If you need a short version, know this is a long metaphor of Man compared to fish and the numerous similarities between those two species. Uprooted Sunshine meets Original Fools - 7 Years of Uprooted Fools !

2020 has been a strange year, but it's not a surprise for the inter-galactic crew Original Fools, since they've seen so much of the human non-sense across the parallel unvierses that it was an evidence things would eventually collapse for this weird species.

As usual, they wrote down their missions reports using a specific encrypted code which - strangely enough - does sound like music to human ears.
