Download full tracks at: http://rinse.it/AbTK5- // London based electronic music artist and Detroit aficionado Sascha Zastiral published his first 12" "Electronic Phiction" in 1998 on DJ Good Groove's label Frisbee Tracks. Releases on labels like Monika Kruse's Terminal M, Holzplatten and Swedish imprint Physical Soul followed.

In 2014 his all time hero Kevin Saunderson signed Sascha to his legendary label KMS Records. In 2015, Sascha's tracks were released on relaunched Primate Recordings.

Sascha has played live sets in numerous clubs including the famous original "Tresor" in Berlin. His music is heavily inspired by the sound of Detroit, the birthplace of techno: An intoxicating blend of drums, basslines and funky grooves. It's at the same time raw and intelligent, deep and groovy. Dance music with a soul.

This is a four tracker packed with detroit techno grooves.

Thirteen years ago both producers collaborated on "Vale Tudo", a vinyl released on the Brazilian's own Noise Music. In spring 2019 Anderson unleashes "User Error", a two-tracker enhanced with a remix by Japanese techno legend, Ken Ishii.

The two originals respectively own very different forms of techno: "User Error" being an absolute peak-time banger featuring an infectious acid synth line, while "Gathering" leans towards a melodic approach, showcasing the artist's compositional versatility and established production skills.

Ken Ishii introduces a remix engulfed on the signature techno sound he has carved over the last two decades since signing "Extra" to R&S Records in 1995....

Have you ever retreated from a techno club in the morning and felt the way back became infinite, wobbly and ultimately your destination grew impossible to reach?. 

"Black queues, dark rooms, red ball, high shoes". Diarmaid O Meara's ode to Berlin's infamous nightlife is accurately dubbed "Live In The Night". It comes in the shape of a techno dance floor smasher that features an unforgettable bass line topped with suggestive female vocals.

The EP stretches with two additional original productions: "Toxic Positivity" and "All Messed Up", titles that further ponder other notable nightlife traits of Berlin.

Born in Ireland and living in Berlin for the past ten years, Diarmaid O Meara is a DJ, music producer and owner of Gobsmacked Records. He has been releasing techno records steadily since 2009, and his record label is now on its second decade of operations....

After witnessing a strange sighting in the night sky on the first day of 2020's lockdown, Miss Electric produced "They Left The Planet", an EP including four original techno tracks bundled with a remix by Greencross.

Miss Electric is an Austrian DJ/Producer with releases on legendary techno labels like Primate, Primevil UK, Advanced UK or Driving Forces. Ben Sims, Robert Armani, Stanny Franssen or Dantiez Saunderson have supported her tracks. In 2016 she founded MER, a record label faithful to the old-school sound, with music from producers like Woody McBride, Ade Fenton, Mike Dearborn, Justin Berkovi, Ben Long or Hiroaki Iizuka.

In "They Left The Planet", Miss Electric materializes her visions of malign entities departing from Earth, leaving our world and humanity to freely thrive and prosper, devoid of external influences and negative energy.

For Different Is Different Records' 200th release, Miss Electric delivers four original DJ-tools which contain the essence of old-school techno, amalgamated with her distinctive pounding and hypnotic sound. The label's boss, Greencross, chimes-in with a remix to wrap up this milestone record....

"Deep See Dark Mind" is the new EP by Greencross including two original techno tracks recorded in one take using only hardware synthesizers. 

The first cut, "Thought Suppressor", is Greencross' way of protesting against the crescent wave of censorship that plagues the internet since almost half a decade now. A dark and pounding, bass-heavy techno, featuring incomprehensible vocals, razor-sharp lead-synths and huge percussion section.

"Naked Singularity" is broken-beat techno, inspired by the theoretical possibility to observe the collapse of an object to infinite density past the event horizon inside a black hole. The track stars futuristic voices coming from outer space or another dimension, pouring through walls made out as though they are holograms which might exist outside our present reality.

Greencross describes "Deep See Dark Mind" as a raw, dirty slice of alternative techno, a "drunk" experimentalist style, and the result of "much self-directed obsession"....
