So Klarity.  Trance-like states are induced throughout Volume 1, weaved through by goth gaze moods paced with stoner grunge guitars - lyrics such as  “felt all the blame inside me”, “your predictable I can foresee what you’ll say, we will not be portrayed, as weak and unlovable” - brooding lovelorn memories, panoptic sensuality. 

Melodic desire connected in echoes of Korn and Deftones infected riffs through five tracks, moving in and out of a drone afterglow. Resistance to concealed narrative, instead baring all. Volume 1 is a collection of aching love songs; yearning dreams - an anguished postcard punctured with secrets. 
  
Within this stream of consciousness; spinning melodies of forlorn devotion, longing messages drifting inside the Black Hole Sun. Jouissance: "One does not know it, one does not desire it, one joys in it [on en jouit]. Violently and painfully. A passion… an impure process that protects from the abject only by dint of being immersed in it", the cathartic messages of the otherness that is femine language.” (Julia Kristeva, Powers of Horror: An Essay on Abjection).

INDEX0X0XL is the second release of our pan-sensory bouquet, distilled to provoke and whet our deepest of lusts. An atomised, sway-inducing solution to seduce and ensnare the most sated souls, thru an intoxicating rhapsody of notes – a Venus in slurs.

@beliawinnewisser’s debut EP on Die Orakel, 'Mother Earth Took Poison In Her Soil', has her sonic exploration grounded in one of our most pressing topics to day, comprised of braindancing breakbeats intertwined with radiophonic artefacts, lingering between warm melodic pads.

With a slightly melodramatic tone, 'Mother Earth Took Poison In Her Soil' sets a pressing call to Side A, while 'Interlude 1' is a short radiophonic story to engage with your own imagination. This blends into a warm and melodic 'Dancing Patterns', embedded in soft pads. 'Haze' presents a darker facet of this EP, using eery synth pads and tension inducing fast arpeggi. 'Interlude 2' literally tells a sonic fireside tale, before 'Unattainable Promises' accelerate their breakbeats, intertwining with lush pads on half-step passages and sonic layers of different tempi.

London-based producer Kincaid heads to Grid Records for the label's sixth release.

Having previously released on Banoffee Pies Records, Well Street Records and Accidental Meetings, Kincaid has clearly demonstrated a penchant for intricate sound design. Seeped in emotion, all the tracks were written within a week in February last year, deep in a lockdown. “It was a particularly difficult time for me, and the record reflects that, each track representing a catharsis with different issues". 

Ahead of the release in two weeks we have the exclusive stream of 'Stretching Distance', a track which floats in and out of focus of natural textures and organic soundscapes, whirring in blissful ambience.

Premiere: Kincaid - Stretching Distance [Grid Records]

Die Orakel is a Frankfurt based music platform run by Oliver Hafenbauer.

Die Orakel (Engl. the oracles) might not know it all but has the capacity to observe and sense it: Oliver Hafenbauer's imprint operates as an experimental field for electronic music on the playfully indecisive end where it exceeds genre-specificity to focus on tunes that function beyond. This is not to say that there are no four-to-the-floor productions. The Frankfurt-based label features contributions by artists like Reptant, Poly Chain, Edward, Roman Flügel, upsammy or O-Wells, all known as dance floor doyens. The releases yet encompass what can slip the attention on a traditional dance label. Uplifting and downtempo appear here as two categories that do not exclude each other. The visual representation of the venture is undertaken by Stefan Haag and label boss Oliver Hafenbauer himself, who have a clear approach to communicating Die Orakel’s standards.
