In the intricate tapestry of existence, we often find ourselves adrift in a fragmented reality, disconnected from the essence of our being. This dissonance, born of distortion, trauma, and the unmet yearnings of our humanity, leaves us yearning for a reunification of our fractured selves. Despite our fervent longing for harmony, we remain ensnared in a labyrinth of both virtuous and detrimental endeavors in our quest for unity and congruity.

Across the vast expanse of life's odyssey, suffering emerges as an inevitable facet, casting its shadow upon each soul it encounters. It is no wonder, then, that many among us bear the weight of perpetual fracture and disrepair. Yet, amidst the cosmic discord, hidden paths and arcane practices beckon, promising a return to wholeness, even as the cosmos relentlessly tests and etches its scars upon our essence.

Within the mystical realm of consumption-induced dissociation lies a portal—a sacred space of detachment from the mundane. Here, trauma survivors may embark on a journey of ethereal exploration, navigating the depths of their subconscious without succumbing to its overwhelming torrents. Through this enigmatic communion, they may gradually transmute their anguish into alchemical wisdom, forging a path towards healing and transcendence.

Fragmented: mental groove techno mix

I recorded a spontaneous session to challenge me to play without preparing anything beforehand but a mental moodboard. This mixtape captures the sound I’m drawn to right now, inspired by the slow, moody tempo of Berlin’s winter. Picture snowstorms sweeping through the city as the tracks unfold. 
It’s raw and unperfect. I want to set as an intention this year to do that more often, just having fun playing tracks I love.

@sebastiankeks discovered his passion for electronic music at underground bunker parties in 1995 and began DJing in 1998, staying true to vinyl and 90s techno roots. In 2000, he co-founded Umweltpumpe1, which evolved into the label Up1 Records in 2002. As a resident DJ at Triebwerk Dresden (2004–2013), he helped shape the local scene and later launched event series like Nachteulen and Berlin Techno. Since 2024, he’s been part of SUT – Secret Underground Techno and revived Gepflegtes Klopfen as a podcast series spotlighting raw, unfiltered techno sets. In 2025, he became a radio host with his show Kekscore Moments on Evosonic Radio. Known for his versatility and emotional depth, Sebastian crafts sets that blend timeless classics with fresh releases—always tuned to the perfect moment.

Life occurrences. Coming and going like waves, carrying their flow of emotions. Leaving us to sometimes feel broken, sometimes plunged in the depths of our inner worlds, sometimes blooming and leaning towards the outside world. The tides of our existence regulate our perception of rhythm, silence, and intensity.
This mix mirrors that motion, starting on the more tenuous side, as if searching for balance in the discomfort of the unexpected, then drifting into hypnotic patterns that open space for reflection. Sometimes the journey makes no real sense, as if rising and falling without direction, teaching us to let go of meaning and surrender to the chaos. As the journey unfolds, layers grow stronger, textures deepen, and the energy rises, pulling us back to the surface with a new clarity.
Kyra crafts deep, groovy, and hypnotic sonic landscapes, weaving minimal yet intricated
sounds with an entrancing pulse. Inspired by Berlin’s nocturnal energy, her sets blend rolling
basslines, subtle textures, futuristic atmospheres, and a relentless groove—pulling dancers into a state of flow where time dissolves into rhythm.
