The far journey

Two beings travelling long together 
close in soul and heart and then one of them dies

Happenings that were full and bright before
become hollow and only surface
It is the reason for the surviving being to travel along

El viaje lejano

Dos seres que andan juntos largo tiempo
cerca en alma y corazón y uno de ellos muere

The second of April of the year two thousand and fifteen my sweet spouse and brave amazonita died after a fierce savage and devastating battle with the monster - its name is whispered in silent fear ‘Creutzfeldt-Jakob’. My son and I were brave knights fighting at her side and at times while holding her hand in despair we looked the monster in its lurking devilish eyes. The music is a tribute to the epic courage and the astonishing strength in her fight of my sweet amazonita. The monster appears and reappears and then I was lost in the desert were crystal steps nourished me.

My father passed away on February 21, 2019. There was a beautiful and mysterious event which alleviates some of the massivness of our mourning. Lyneth spotted from the window in the roof a big colored bird in the distance. The bird roamed the ground and moved slowly closer to our house. It kept doubting at the wall behind which my father's bedroom is. Lester had been called by Lyneth and they both looked at the strange behavior of the big bird. Then the bird came even closer and fairly unexpected it jumped on the garden table standing in the grass between the forest and the wall adjacent to my father's bedroom. Lyneth was fascinated by the spectacle and as she approached the table the bird stretched its neck toward her so she could touch it. Then suddenly the bird unfolded the fan of its brightly colored tail, it was a peacock, and there it was radiant with splendor. Lester and Lyneth were able to notify me just in time so that I could still see how the peacock stepped of the table and slowly disappeared in the forest. It is just after this event that my father started his journey to the other shore of the river between the worlds.

When I sit in front of my piano I wait for the muse to come and she is my guide when she comes. I have learned over the years not to give in eagerly to 'wanting to create' but rather allowing 'being guided by the muse'. It is very rewarding and I hope you enjoy.
