Cosmic Liberation Society is the new solo electronica project by Southern California native John Phinney (producer/multi instrumentalist for Yer Bird Records recording artist Greater Pacific).  Drawing inspiration from ambient & trance electronica, glitch beats, and 4AD/shoegaze guitars these tracks are an experiment in mind expansion and mood alteration.  John can be seen performing regularly in the LA area with Americana band Greater Pacific (pedal steel, uke, banjo, guitar).
