Mathias Kaden is back on Rekids after 2022’s ‘Blackbird’ EP, this time with the four-track ‘Circulate’ EP featuring a remix from the hotly tipped William Kiss. Kaden’s ‘Freedom’ kicks things off with stripped-back machine rhythm, tasteful stab melodies and a deeply satisfying low-end groove before an iconic gospel vocal joins in. Title track ‘Circulate’ is another infectious low-slung crawler with crunchy synth hits and a hypnotic and classy vibe that will get the dancefloor moving.

On the flip, William Kiss remixes Mathias Kaden’s ‘Freedom’ following his recent EP on Rekids' sibling label RSPX and the release of his collaborative project, Not Without Friends, with Luke Alessi and Jordan Brando on RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Rose Avenue. Kiss turns the track into a pumping peak-time cut with additional percussion and plenty of his signature Jackin’ flavour. Closing out the record, Kaden’s ‘Twisting Shadows’ introduces an acidic bassline and warped, dubbed-out vocals before dropping into an energetic trip.

Active since the mid-90s, Mathias Kaden appeared on Radio Slave’s Rekids for the first time in 2019 for ‘Liberate Drums’. He now returns to the label with the ‘Circulate’ EP, adding to his versatile discography on labels like Dyinamic and Vakantwhile also remixing work by Matthias Tanzmann, Onur Özer, Anja Schneider, and Trentemöller.

Premiere: Mathias Kaden - Freedom (William Kiss Remix) [Rekids]

‘96 - the peak of Goa Trance and the likes of Paul Oakenfold and Sasha. The same year two boys named Igor were born in Belgrade, Serbia. 
Locally well known deejays following their own journey through sound, (Igor) Cosmic G and (Igor) Dakman have already shown maturity in both choosing and making records; their first studio work together nested IGORI, a four track EP neatly blending each one’s distinctive sound.

Straight off the bat “I” opens a portal into another dimension, with crispy percussion and intricate baseline progression, gated sounds leading to a swift breakdown before the groove takes hold once again.

“G” shows its darker tone, captivating progressive trance melodies of the turn of the century: distant vocalizations cleverly fiddle with an ever-evolving harmony, as the percussive tones maintain a high energy.

Perhaps musically the biggest achievement of the EP is the third track “O” - melodic storytelling reflecting more analogue times is tightly arranged around a striped down drum groove laced with minimal synth stabs.

“R” reflects the mood of the entire release with a classic progressive sound, swinging back to a more obscure, deep tech direction. IGORI EP is closed with an unstoppable drum programming carried by multitrack of melodies, showing a leveled collaboration of two gifted producers.

UK DJ, producer, and Dumb Safari label head Huxley joins Radio Slave’s Rekids for the first time with the ‘MIND G%MES’ EP, dropping 25th July 2025.

The first track, ‘M%ND’, kicks oﬀ with woozy and alluring pads swirling round a cuddly but kicking Deep House groove. Soulful vocals and delicate, cosmic melodies rise out of the mix to bring it to a close in style.

'CLUB SH%T' ups the ante with zippy synths injecting some texture to slamming drums that straddle the House and Techno divide, while wispy stabs and warm daubs of sound dance around the cowbells to make this an evaluated late-night tool.

'FEAR N%THING' is a new school cut, with filtered loops, sugary chords, and pent-up energy all surging through the dance floor.

Last but not least is 'ANY1', a sleazy House pumper featuring moody spoken word, a big, rubbery bassline, and slinky, Garage-influenced percussion.

Active in the underground music scene for two decades, former Rinse resident and sometime Aus, Shall Not Fade and Unknown To The Unknown artist has had one hell of a career. From huge breakthrough tracks like ‘Let it Go’ on Hypercolour and ‘Box Clever’ on 20:20 Vision to his 2014 ‘Blurred’ LP on Aus, he’s seen universal critical acclaim as well as massive support from DJs and dancefloors globally.

In recent years, his Dumb Safari label, the online community R Trybe (co-founded by Ramin Rezaie/BAKKIS) and collaborations with Steve Bug are just a handful of his projects, while his ‘MIND G%MES’ EP for Rekids is already feeding the fire with support from Jen Cardini, Cromby, I.Jordan, Jennifer Loveless and big room dons, Michael Bibi and Solomun.

Ketiov, one half of Catz ‘n Dogz, teams up with fellow Polish artist Edvinn for the ‘10 Hours Extravaganza’ EP, marking the tenth release for Radio Slave’s REK’D, landing 15th August 2025.

The pair open with ‘Extravaganza’, a cut that taps into the foundations of Classic House with a spoken-word vocal that feels lifted from a vintage Chicago record. Buoyant drums roll underneath as warm chord vamps bring soul to the groove until a soaring female vocal breaks through, lifting the track into full-blown rapture.

Up next, ‘10 Hours’ ramps up the intensity, its tension building through sharp filtering before unleashing a turbo-charged House groove with full-throttle synths, jacking percussion, and vocal stabs designed to push the energy to the limit.

As one half of Catz ‘n Dogz, Ketiov has shaped global dance floors and contributed to his own co-founded Pets Recordings and its oﬀshoot, Step Recordings, alongside labels like Radio Slave’s flagship Rekids imprint, Defected, and plenty more labels.

As a solo artist, he delves deeper into House for the ‘10 Hours Extravaganza’ EP, linking up with Edvinn, a Warsaw-based DJ and producer whose sound blends 90s and 00s house and techno influences with a strong percussive focus, having released on outlets such as Planet Rhythm, Frenzy Recordings, and Step Recs.

Infamous nightlife institution Robert Johnson firstly opened its doors 21 years ago, shortly after establishing itself as one of the leading clubs in the Rhein-Main area, in Germany and in the world. Driven and run by music enthusiasts and passionate people the club in Offenbach defies several crisises, movements or trends as at some point in (electronic) music history the club and its connected label became a trend itself – one that has been enduring for almost as long as its own existance. Within but not because the current chapter of world history Live At Robert Johnson releases the fourth edition of its Lifesaver-series, including 21 tracks from artists that have made people dance on the wooden floor of the legendary night club over the course of the years, dedicated to one that passed away too early, Andrew Weatherall – to many a person to look up to, to many a musical inspiration, to many at Robert Johnson a friend and exceptional artist. And picking up on the word exceptional close followers of Robert Johnson will connect it with AVA label head Damiano von Erckert, who's taken the club's crowd by storm with his (deep) House approach that partly implements vocal snippets, samples or elements of Soul, R&B, Funk or Disco combining it with intriguing chords and pulsating bass lines. His contribution, Let's Hide Away, to the Lifesaver compilation, his first release of an own track on a different label than his own in nearly 10 years, musically takes up the aforementioned resulting in an endlessly groovey House(m) anthem that sags the (wooden) floor at Robert Johnson and makes it a hideaway for people within its seven minutes.
