Gimme 5 - Rootikal Mix

‘Harder’ is the debut single from Soul Revivers and features Jamaican master guitarist Ernest Ranglin.

Soul Revivers are reggae veteran DJ and producer Nick Manasseh and David Hill of the Ballistic Brothers and Rootikal.

The track, which has tough rhythm topped with Ranglin’s wonderfully fluid guitar and tight horns section, and has already received support from Gilles Peterson who said, ‘This is special, return of the great Ernest Ranglin’, and David Rodigan, 'This is superb, so refreshing and so unique. Ernest Ranglin on top form’.

Released on all digital services on the 29th May 2020, a vinyl 45 will follow in July. The debut album ‘No More Drama’ will be released later in 2020.

multi instrumentista, Diego começou bem cedo, um Natal de 1988, com 7 anos ganha seu primeiro teclado Casio infantil, já tirava sons de ouvido, logo em seguida teve contato com a bateria através do tio que tocava em uma banda de rock, (ele não curtia que tocasse na bateria dele 👍) colocava um fone de ouvido e tentava acompanhar, na mesma época aprendi violão e baixo, daí foi aquela febre, na sequência entrei em uma banda marcial, onde aprendi a tocar trombone, automaticamente aprendi a ler partitura, nesse processo toquei profissionalmente em shows e gravações, daí em diante, trabalhei com gravações e produções... enfim! um pouco da minha história
