Born in Oslo, her curiosity has taken her around the entire world, and eventually she ended up in Berlin. Although settled in this busy cultural city, her closeness with nature, the mountains, forest and the ocean is still a corner stone of her existence. A key motivation in her life is the discovery of new things, soaking up everything that makes her happy. This is probably a reason why she dives head first and with full force into new experiences, something you can recognize when you see her interacting with music. Music is one of her biggest passions, and this has spread out to every aspect in her life. Currently she is the co-owner of SNOE, actively engaged in artist management in a well-known agency, music journalist, producing music and touring as a DJ throughout the world. A workaholic with a butterfly image... Fluttering from place to place. „Lydi“ comes form the Norwegian words„lyd i“, and means „sound in“ or „volume within“.The name reflectsher attitude towards the music she plays. Her main concern is not necessarily genre, but rather what it makes her feel, and that feeling she wants to experience together with the peopleon the dance floor.Deep and bassy you find her sound somewhere between techno and tech-house.Herstyle reflectsher personality and is always fresh, vivid and happy. Beth’s distinctive sound definitely makes her a „must hear“ in the clubs and festivals around the world. Every show is a new highlight for her, and although she has played prestigious venues and festivals in cities such as Oslo, Berlin, Amsterdam, Toronto, San Diego, Rio De Janeiro, Copenhagen, Sidney, Melbourne and more, she has never lost the humbleness and thankfulness for getting the opportunity to share her music with the world and to everyone who makes it possible...

Stockholm Syndrome Au - Supermercado Live on Area 3000 Melbourne

Sinchi Music's always-interesting Altered States series hits volume number 10 and again curates a wide range of exciting talents from across the globe with music from Brazil, Mexico, the US, Germany, Lithuania and Bali.

Encanto is a pseudonym of the versatile Leonardo Ferreira, a Brazilian artist who embraces the nomadic life and turns it into a rich artistic expression. He has played all over South America and mixes up house and techno with samples and sounds from the 80s and 90s on the likes of U're Guay Records and Cutting Corners. His electro gem 'Esquiva' is a mystic blend of warped synths and ice-cold broken beats that reverberate with cosmic darkness.

Bruce Wine focuses on the dark and enigmatic side of industrial techno, wave and disco and is one-half of a live act with the acclaimed Ninasonik. He once again transports listeners to unknown and fascinating soundscapes on his excellent 'Olmeca Dream', a stark mix of arresting synth drones and menacing bass with plenty of eerie open space.

Lukas Feser is a DJ wizard who has branched out to production with great success after playing records for over a decade. He dives into psychedelic realms, tribal rhythms and ancient chants on 'Amahoro,' a steamy deep techno sound that snakes its way through jungle undergrowth amongst many paranoid voices.

Bali-based BRDN is known for a dark signature sound that explores shady disco, EBM, trance and electro as perfectly exemplified by 'Disco Jedi' with its twitchy and glitchy drums and laser-like synths. There is a sense of intergalactic warfare to this techno stomper that will light up any darkened back room.

Munich-based Alemao returns to Sinchi ahead of outings on the likes of Mélopée, Epicure and Weirdos Records. His superb 'Voyager' is a slow-burning but high-impact deep techno-disco trip with widescreen pads and a forlorn sense of melancholy that lingers in the well-crafted synths.

American TDWS is powered by a passion for EBM, retro vibes, and the electrifying pulse of HI-NRG. On the fantastic 'Chameleon' the producer mixes up nostalgia with innovation and pushes the boundaries as he programs bright Italo arps over thudding post-punk drums. There is a celestial feel to the keys of this most bittersweet sound.

"I found myself in a unique and challenging situation, After I became the resident DJ at a beach club in a foreign country owned by a powerful company that imposed strict exclusivity rules. Yet, in the midst of the rhythmic waves, an opportunity to perform at a mega club presented itself, an offer too enticing to resist.

Undeterred by the contractual chains, I decided to take the risk. With determination and secrecy, I accepted the booking, blocking everyone associated with me on social media to keep my plan under wraps. On the night of the gig, I called in sick to my resident job, convinced that I had successfully outsmarted the system.

As I unleashed my music upon the massive crowd of 2000 people in the mega club, the energy was electric. Little did I know, my carefully crafted plan was about to face a sudden twist. Mid-set, I glanced to my side, only to find my manager standing there with a fake angry smile, a smile that said, "I wanna kill you, but I can't help but be impressed."

In that moment, I knew I had breached my contract and lost my job as a resident DJ. Yet, the pulsating rhythm of the crowd's cheers and the freedom I felt on that stage made it all worth it. Sometimes, the best risks lead to the greatest rewards.
