It's based on Additive and FM Synthesis, with symmetrical forms, and Yes, it does contain a small textual reference to Planet Of The Apes.

Final Exam for Composition I
Every sound was recorded and processed on the same day, arragements were made on that very day and a additional one.
Although the narrative of the composition was already settled, the aesthetics of sounds reminded of the excellent Horror Meta-Movie The Cabin In The Woods ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1259521/ ). Since I found some similarities between the movie's plot and this piece, I decided to pay a tribute to the movie by naming the music with its title.
In Spanish the title was traslated as The Cabin Of Horror, which not only doesn't even really spoil the movie accordingly, but also it's an awful commonplace.
