Wie ungerecht es doch manchmal ist. Am Wochenende noch verregnet und trüb zeigt sich das Wetter heute von einer ganz anderen Seite. Dank dem erneuten Einzug des Altweibersommers konnte man getrost die Daunenjacke zuhause lassen und nur mit Hemd oder T-Shirt zur Arbeit fahren… Genau, zur Arbeit! Einen solch schönen Tag wie heute wäre am Wochenende wohl angebrachter gewesen, aber was soll’s? Mit der passenden Mukke fliegen auch die nächsten paar Arbeitstage im nu an uns vorbei.

Bonny & Clyde heisst das aktuelle Zürcher DJ- und Produzentengespann, welches sich mit der 31. Episode in unseren hauseigenen Podcast einreiht. Seit 2011 verwandeln Stefanie und Dario noch so jede Location, egal ob Grossveranstaltungen wie die Lethargy oder andere renommierte Schweizer Clubs, in tobende Tollhäuser. Doch damit nicht genug. Zu ihren treibenden DJ Sets gesellen sich auch die einen oder anderen Veröffentlichungen. So wurde ihr Track Free Love, welcher auf ihrer Soundcloud Page GRATIS heruntergeladen werden kann, bereits über 37‘000 Mal angeklickt. Zudem releasen die beiden 26 jährigen Limmatstädter immer wieder auf etablierten Plattentempeln wie Monophonic Music oder 9000 Audio Records.

Mit ihrem fast zwei Stunden andauernden Mix bescheren uns Bonny & Clyde eine Reise in ihre Welt, voll von feinster elektronischer Musik.

Regen… von vielen verschmäht und als störend empfunden ist er für mich in zwei Varianten einfach nur wunderschön. 
Erstens im Sommer, wenn er eine willkommene Erfrischung ist und der Geruch einem in der Nase hängenbleibt. 
Am schönsten ist er aber am offenen Fenster sitzend in Verbindung mit richtig schöner Musik. 
Inspiriert durch den wichtigsten Menschen in meinem Leben, die vielen Künstler, welche mit ihren eigenen Sets so tolle Geschichten erzählen 
(ganz besonders http://soundcloud.com/falscherhase, http://soundcloud.com/professionaldreamer und sein Bruder http://soundcloud.com/bu-rns; ohne euch wäre ich nicht zu dieser Musik gekommen) und die großartigen Produzenten der einzelnen Lieder, konnte ich dieses Thema umsetzen und meine eigene kleine, sehr emotionale Regengeschichte „schreiben“ bzw. erzählen.

Manon made her first steps into the “World of Vinyl” at the age of seven when she spent her first savings to buy disks instead of dolls.

Music has become the most important thing in her life and she built up her whole social environment around. As luck would have it she got the opportunity to play her first records at her home base at the age of 15 years. Nowadays it’s getting clear that this first “steps” as a DJ finally were the beginning of her present carrier.

During her education in gastronomy Manon made her first attempts to illegal parties at the “Dampfzentrale” and the “Bluelight” in Berne/Switzerland. It was during this period that she discovered her passion about electronical music.
The founders of the “Bluelight” opened one of the first House and Techno locations in Berne, the “Aare Bar”. Manon has been working there for one year as leader of the bar. After going abroad several months she came back and took over a bar of her parents. Chairs have been replaced by a DJ desk and a dance bar and after hour location was born in which well-known names from the national and international DJ scene were guests.

Zurich became the mecca of electronical music in Switzerland. Due to private and professional reasons Manon decided in 1993 to move to this city.

Because of her job at the record shop and her involvement in the legendary after hours at the “Oxa” in Zurich/Switzerland and the “Tarot Club Grodoonia” in Rumlang/Switzerland she finally decided to do her hobby as a profession. Thanks to her first resident job at the “Kaufleuten” Club in Zurich and various gigs at insider parties of friends such as “Dekadance”, Massive Ursive Primitive” and “Life is a Bitch” she established her carrier in the Swiss and later on also in the international DJ scene.
