CYNKT started DJ-ing in his bedroom at the age of 18. The first years were just to have some fun during afterparties, but after a while he got sucked into listening and making music. Right now he is 24 years old and studies sustainable development (master) at Utrecht University. He considers himself as a pretty diverse music lover, since he loves industrial, rave, oldschool thunderdome stuff, EBM and synth-pop. Although CYNKT's sets are pretty extreme and don't really suit the opening slots, he tries to deliver a musical journey to his listeners. During the last few years he also started producing, which opened a whole new door. He is not too perfectionistic and just tries to make music his own way. He hates watching tutorials, so basically he learned everything on Ableton Live from trial and error. Most of his personal tracks are a mixture between industrial and oldschool rave. The release on @999999999music's label is his favorite, since it gave him the confidence that he can really deliver quality techno. CYNKT's first full EP with remixes from Achiever, @aert-techno and REMY-X will be released on @obscuurrecords in April.

 "I hope to get better and play in other countries besides Holland. But most of all, I just love the music and it makes me proud that I already showed my sound to some awesome crowds and labels. It all started as a hobby and it still is. I hope you like the set!"

Harder Podcast #075 - CYNKT

Vendex is a DJ and producer born in Barcelona. He began to mix at the age of 14 to 15 years and began to produce in 2016 various genres and subgenres of electronic music. He is now focused on techno, specifically in the Dark, Industrial, Acid and Hard Techno.
During the summers he grew up in Ibiza, since he has family on the island, thanks to this he had at his disposal many artists and genres with different influences.

Today he has found his way, the path of Techno, with a philosophy that envelops him in a cloak of darkness. Influenced by the literature of Dante Alighieri in his work the Divine Comedy, as well as everything related to history, Vendex comes with the intention of creating a path to an inner journey wrapped in dark melodies, blunt and sharp bass that defy the natural, reaching supernatural sounds that touch or even reach what would be the sound of the underworld. Generating sounds that guide the Dantesque idea of ​​a trip in the underworld with the aim of reaching paradise. All this through a forceful and enveloping sound, this creating a path to the nine levels of hell, purgatory and finally reaching paradise.

Influenced today in his sessions by artists such as @daxj, @parallx-bln, @ihatemodels, @scalameriya, @ancient-methods, @tommyfourseven, @setaoc_mass and many more.
