In October of 2021 I was given the opportunity to craft a 30 minute mix for Rene LaVice's pivotal drum and bass mix show on the UK's legendary BBC Radio 1. Somewhat unlike my other mixes I decided to take this one in a deep future funk direction with much less emphasis on dancefloor tunes. The final product was hopefully something that sounded good on the radio and also appealed to a wide variety of forward thinking listeners. 

It's a quick one for sure...and I hope you enjoy!

Starting things off is the IMAX level / widescreen sonic range of “The Void” with it’ massive cinematic intro, churning low end and surgical future funk beats. Truly epic sound design really pulls this track together to form something very special. Following is the cybernetic step of “Wither” which continues the audio assault with high grade sound design and a super punchy drum and bass workout. Rounding out the EP is “Glass Dunes” with a compelling synth lead intro that morphs into an extremely clean roller with crisp percussion, tight edits and classic neuro dnb vibes.
