""Hi there, Maybe I am not so well known for "going hard", since for the last two years I’ve been concentrating, along with my co-conspirators, to play and curate non-standard club energy, at our Weird Science parties. Buuuuut I also always collect dark electro and distorted techno, and have been itching to put these tracks into a high energy set. Here it is! Mostly vinyl, recorded in one take on March 30, 2020. Think of it as a tool for releasing pent up energy, perhaps good for solo raving, HIIT workouts, hardcore bread-making, or whatever floats your fucken boat. "I really had fun recording this session, thanks so much for this opportunity! Because almost the entire Pinkman tour we had planned for this year got cancelled due to the virus, I hadn’t touched a DJ set for over 2 months. I went to Operator with an USB stick filled with music I’d never played before to record the mix. My approach was to do a set I would play at the club, because I truly miss that at the moment. The selection is a mixture of upcoming Pinkman releases, promos I received from befriended artists / labels and stuff I recently bought."

Fifty-third of the Eclectic Reactions monthly podcast series materialized by Ne/Re/A aka @nereadelrio , Basque DJ and producer based in New York, where she is a regular on the Brooklyn techno scene. This week we return with a familiar face; Diana (Napirelly) has joined forces with Niels (Delta Funktionen) to form their sci-fi tribalism alias Immediate Proximity. Bringing their first LP "2334" to light last August on Radio Matrix; 'machines and algorithms have taken over humanity. Metallic beats kick hard and eerie melodies are placed against rhythms that remember us of ancient tribes carrying out ritualistic dances in order to try to escape the machine world.' 

That exact spirit is what they incorporated in this episode, blending breaks/halftime/electro in the process.
