For those who've been paying attention, Wes Baggaley isn't just another DJ—he's a selector who has meticulously explored the underground electronic landscape across Europe for many years. From the hallowed decks of Panoramabar to Frankfurt’s seminal Robert Johnson and in the sweaty depths of Glastonbury's NYC Downlow, Baggaley has cultivated a reputation as a vinyl obsessive who treats records like a primary language.

He's not one to pull punches either; in real life and on his Instagram, he offers a refreshing take on the absurdity of the state of the music world—from lamenting the current popularity of "garbage pop remixes" masquerading as "cool" and "underground," to poking fun at the disconnect between an artist's public persona and the commercial realities behind the 'scene'...there's definitely a reason Dave Clarke's FUSE is his favourite mix!

Drawing from a deep well of experience—eight years on Rinse FM and residencies that span from London's Dalston Superstore at the most excellent queer house music party Bottom Heavy to the world's most revered underground spaces—Baggaley delivers a journey that's both intense and unpredictable.

This mix captures the restless spirit of someone who refuses to be confined by genre boundaries. Dark ambient textures collide with driving techno, industrial edges spark against electro. It's a mix that reflects Baggaley's current Narr Radio remit, and it certainly refuses to sit still...

On est heureux de vous partager notre set à IOTA festival, enregistré un samedi soir de l'été 2024 sur l'Île d'Oléron. 
On ouvrait le bal en début de soirée sur la grande scène, donc l'objectif clair était de se faire plaisir avec les genres et d'opérer à un crescendo subtil dans le tempo, en proposant ce qu'on aime le plus : ambient, dub et downtempos à la frontière du dubstep et de la deep techno.

We're happy to share our set from IOTA festival, recorded on a Saturday evening in summer 2024 on the Isle of Oléron. We opened the night on the main stage, so our clear objective was to enjoy ourselves with different genres and create a subtle crescendo in tempo, offering what we love most: ambient, dub and downtempo sounds at the frontier between dubstep and deep techno.

Kosmic Skaut graces us with a truly stunning mix recorded with tender loving care for the 52nd chapter of our Podcast Series. The Prague via Brno based artist has been a kindred musical soul and a friend for a long time and we’re so happy to finally welcome him to our cozy lil family circle 🤍

Mikuláš aka Kosmic Skaut goes slow and steady behind the decks, interlocking psychedelic, acid-tinged and hypnotic sounds in his DJ sets spanning multitudes of ambient and dance music genres. For Mikuláš, music is all about collectivity and togetherness ~ a takeout from his early years as a boy scout. He materialises this spirit in projects including organising festival Michalský Výpad in Olomouc, co-running the notorious ÉTER collective in Brno and regurlarly putting on his Kosmic Care events at Ankali’s Planeta Za which he always ~ as an aspiring chef and baker ~ supplies with tasty homemade snacks. Once you try his pizzenka (the cute way to say pizza in Czech) and this delicious mix, there’s no coming back 🍕

In this chapter of our Podcast Series, we plunge head first into the deep end of ambient psychedelia as we take off on this phenomenal voyage through Kosmic Skaut’s wild and wonderful imagination. As we move through the mix, so it moves with us, allowing for softness to emerge in waves of amorphous drones melting into one another, layered with textures, field recordings and electro-acoustic instrumentation in the build up to the rhythmical crescendo that sees it conlcude 🌬️
