The inaugural edition of the Different Intel mix series has commenced, signalling the arrival of Henry Greenleaf into the operation. Over the course of an hour Henry will execute a tactical fusion of techno, breakbeats and 2-step, interweaving his own productions amidst a cache of unreleased material. Further reconnaissance reveals a preview of selections slated for deployment on the label.

Co-owner of independent record label Redstone Press and resident at Sneaky Pete’s (Edinburgh) recurring & fixture at Field Maneuvers Festival, Lewis Lowe is an established regular in the UK underground club scene, appearing at festivals such as Kelburn Garden Party, Love Saves the Day, Twisted & Riverside Festival.

Lewis continues to hone his own brand of off-kilter, heads-down, queer-adjacent techno whilst nodding towards anything else that takes his fancy. His imprint, Redstone Press has received plays from the likes of Ben UFO, Sicaria & Elena Colombi amongst others and has worked with artists Eris Drew, Henry Greenleaf, Elanda, LWS, Dansa, Kincaid, Tano, Toumba and Liam Robertson (Clouds) in its five year lifetime.

A selection of mixes from our Saturday programme in the 24hr Relaxation Station at Floorless Festival.

These mixes were specifically made for sore legs and tired minds, helping punters to take a moment away from it all throughout the weekend. Big thanks to the Floorless crew for the opportunity, it was truly one of the most fulfilling experiences we've had at an event.

The magic of the tent wouldn't have been nearly as good without the amazing light installation by Metic, who leveled things up in a serious way with his Ripples II installation - something we'll never forget.

violet U. is the new moniker of Dorian; an emerging DJ and marine ecology student based in Naarm/Melbourne who’s varying sound is inspired by the interconnectedness of life within the natural world. Under violet U. he hopes to explore spectrums of sound that evoke feelings of introspection and are grounded in the human experience. Expect shimmering ambiance, warped sound system and DIY aesthetics, sparse breaks, left-field oddities, fleeting vocals and all that may fall between.
