From the @DifferentKitchen 15th anniversary compilation, QUINCEAÑERA: MARVELOUS ISH

The rap duo from the west end of Toronto, OSIYM has been known to bring the party anywhere they go. Their witty one liners and energetic charisma are not only showcased in person but also in their music. With topics that range from being broke and spending your last for a good memory to adventures with women and the journey of fatherhood. 

Though OSIYM are known for being the bar heavy party animals of the city, their new music which features production from Zepfire, Demar P and Danthrax shows that they have much more layers to them than that. Over the last 5 years, OSIYM has released two highly acclaimed EPs which helped them bring their undeniable stage presence to venues across North America on showcases like Manifesto, A3C, YouBloom LA, CMW and NXNE. 

They have also been featured on music outlets like Complex and on playlists such as Spotify’s Hip Hop Central and Apple Music’s Breaking Hip-Hop. OSIYM which stands for Out of Sight, In Your Mind set out to make music that you will remember long after they are gone with their unique but relatable topics and their uncanny songwriting abilities.

Grand Analog is a group of record collectors, musicians and self-described beat junkies. You can easily find any of the crew DJing at various clubs around Toronto. The Grand Analog sound is a beautiful mess of rap’n’roll, dub ‘n’ soul. Each personality in this collective brings something unique to the table. Grand Analog - Fly Away: Swing Low

At the age of five, WILL moved to Canada from the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago. Taking all of her childhood memories and past experiences, she tends to write about true life experiences, remaining loyal to her craft and relatable to her audience. WILL was a top 4 finalist on CBC Searchlight 2017 and is also a HoneyJam2017 Alumni.  She recently released her debut EP titled “See No Evil”, a 3-songs journey which was featured in ComplexCA and on Spotify's ‘New Music Friday Canada’. This release was also followed by the visuals for the lead single “Shots Fired"
In addition to the music, WILL considers herself a multi-disciplinary artist who creates art through hairstyles, fashions, and often produces her own videos. 

About "Youth Destruction":
This song was written about 4 years and refined with my good friend Kelsey Vaz for a final version. Youth Destruction is about bringing awareness to gun violence, police brutality and gang wars. The song is about trying to find unity amongst ourselves instead of division and hoping one day there will be change.

Nana started his DJ career at the age of 14, his Mother would insist that his Father wait in the car while Nana did his thing in clubs he wasn't of age to be in. Since then, Nana has performed throughout North America, Europe, Asia and South Africa with artists such as Zaki Ibrahim, Rich Kidd, D.O., and Art of Fresh. He has opened for The Roots, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Premier, Danger Mouse, and K’naan. Nana contributed to the Naturally Born Strangers’ Juno 2015 Rap Recording of the Year, earned the Ghana's Best International DJ Award in 2014 and is getting set to release a series of EPs, showcasing his production and featuring Saukrates, Dankery Harv (aka Dank one half of J Dilla's group 'Frank N Dank'), Keysha Freshh, and others talented Toronto artists. Jai Nitai Lotus is a multi-disciplinary Hip Hop artist, based out of Montreal. He has played the Montreal Jazz Festival twice with his 9-piece band, as well as numerous other national festivals (Manifesto, Harbourfront, NXNE). He has earned many accolades, such as winning a TIMA (Toronto Independent Music Award) and being nominated for Best Rap Album at the Quebec Gamiq Awards. He currently manages NBS studio (a part of the Masion des Jeunes Cote-des-Neiges) recording, educating and mentoring youth through Hip Hop music. He just completed a Visiting Artist in Residency at McGill University's Faculty of Education.
