Compartiendo los mismos gustos musicales y visión creativa, Ema Remedi y Manglus, dos artistas uruguayos que año a año vienen dejando su huella en el viejo continente, deciden en 2014 hacer realidad lo que una vez 
proyectaron.

Una conexión musical que nace en 2008, varios inviernos produciendo juntos, épicos veranos cargados de extendidas sesiones back to back, y la energía contagiosa del dúo en cada presentación, convergen en una natural e inevitable progresión: emprender un nuevo camino y crear su propio sello.

Como plataforma para sus propias producciones y con una clara intención de introducir en la escena a finos talentos latinos, así como también a otros artistas que el dúo va conociendo en cada viaje, la familia Astelagüel se presenta como un sello innovador, de vanguardia, y viene para quedarse.

Basado en Berlín y Punta del Este, su sonido es minimal house y dub techno.

Astelagüel was created from the passion and love for underground music.

Sharing the same musical roots and creative vision, the Uruguayan artists Ema Remedi and Manglus decide to bring to life in 2014 what they once dreamed of.

A musical connection that starts in 2008, many winters producing together, epic summers full of extended back to back sessions, and the contagious energy of the duo during each presentation, converge on a natural if not inevitable progression: the beginning of a new path and the birth of their own label.

As a platform for their own productions and with a clear intention of introducing fine south american talents, as well as other artists that the duo meets on every trip, the Astelagüel family stands as an innovative, vanguard label, that has come here to stay.
