Synkro - Agate (DYL Remix)

A twisted story of a broken love set in the Nordic woods. Inspired by the mossy landscape and cold winds, bearing a hint of a shamanic past. (Or present?) Told in whispering and chanting against the background of the heavy drums and buzzy baseline, as if Fever Ray comes to the forest hill and meets Skip-and-die there and it all ends in some wicked goodbye ritual.

Cocco Mio has invited Chlorys to play as a guest for the second hour of this episode.
Chlorys is a musical & visual entity based in Bucharest, part of Queer Night family, Shape Platform artist in 2017, and since 2016 until present, a founding member of Corp. platform, its main focus on representing and promoting queer identities (trans, nonbinary etc.). She has streched her tentacles also locally, and also internationally, having played shows in Berlin, Stockholm, London, Paris, Lyon, Nantes. She has been a Noods Radio resident for three years, in charge of Alien Flora and a host on the local radio Black Rhino together with Corp, hosting a monthly show called Corpcast. Aside from being active on the local clubbing scene, she also tinkers with the visual and sound arts, having had works exhibited in various galleries such as Suprainfinit Gallery, MNAC Anexa, Ivan Gallery, Rubik Space, Atelier35.

It’s crazy and awful: the war is still around.
At first two riddims by Moscow producer EM-26 weren’t supposed to do anything with politics. We wish they still didn’t. But as Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022 things changed.
These events turned Different Fashion’s collaboration with Jamaican recording don I Jahbar, bright new star Dark Child and freshman Brick into the cry for peace called ‘No More War’.
The name of the second cut, ‘Flyingfvck’, seems to truthfully (which is a bitter truth) describe Russian government’s attitude towards the whole world and its own citizens or can be a perfect description of military planes attacking the foreign country.
EM-26 (who relocated lately which is no surprise) brings what he calls ‘dancehall meets apocalyptic dub-techno’ mixing a wall of noisy sound with raw bass and atmospheric layers and tension with a glimpse of hope.

Today we have several simple messages for you.
Don’t trust politicians. Don’t hate people who differ from you. Help those who need it. Keep your mind clear of the media hysteria.
Peace to all the countries.
