Made it in 3 or 4 days for a specific event. It was a tough one, but I finished it off asap.

One Day at the Desert

Descent and delirium
The fever dream grips us so hard
Can't awake...

The world abandoned us for the others
Feel like everything's dead

Forty leagues beneath the graves of brothers
 
Once more
I spit in your eye, 
to clean away the soil 

Look at the iron son
Amplifying terror of the terrible ones
Raining fire and hell
On your children (Think of the children!)

Look at the iron gun
Aiming at the innocent, or at the flood?
Will you give in to fear, or
Lay your arms down?

Define a field with a single blossom
Is it a flower or a weed? Nobody knows...
And do they care?

With open arms, the maiden beckons
Oceans of fire, rabid mistrust,
Secrets laid out so bare
What's there to hide?

Shadows of the altars have tainted all your lives
