Alyssia lives and works in Berlin as an independant graphic designer. She was born in France where her parents, Cambodians of Chinese descent, immigrated in 1977. Her last name ‘Lou’ stands for her Chinese name 羅 – which could have also been translated to ‘Luo, ‘Lu’…

We discuss with Joshua Dávila a.k.a. The Blockchain Socialist with respect to carving out alternative avenues for the application of Blockchain that wrest it away from the strands of deterministic techno-libertarianism, his critique of The Network State, and seeding the prospects of Coordi-Nations.

Joshua Dávila has been working in the blockchain space for the past five years in Europe and has been anonymously moonlighting as the one behind The Blockchain Socialist blog and podcast. He is also the co-director of the upcoming documentary Crypto Futures which explores the alternative economic imaginaries of the crypto ecosystem that the mainstream media doesn’t cover.

A rare fruit, the duo’s album nods (and headbangs) to a curious range of musical influences through heavy sampling and live instrumentation. Yours, unapologetically attempts to fit the mould of a "conventional” album, while at the same time allowing for naive weirdness.
