With grooves stemming from the amazing beaches of Muscat and Zanzibar, and drum sounds influenced heavily by American Hip-Hop and RnB, too the great electronic influences of Berlin and Bristol. The concept of his whole sound is to the merge as many different cultures and emotions. With genres consisting of house, electro, hip-hop, soul, garage, your occasional techno, and finally, rhythm and blues, all coexisting and unifying into one sound. All these key elements have really influenced Jean Jez and the music that comes along with it. Hoping that one day you will appreciate the music as much as he enjoyed making it.

Karkasas presents an intriguing aesthetic of minimalistic beats and
post industrial techno. Creating cold and hypnotic networks of sound walls, overlaid with unexpected simulations of modular synthesizers, the listener is surprised by harsh, dynamic, soul warping sounds.  Music enables this mysterious artist to become the only language Karkasas speaks. Karkasas has a new EP coming out soon on Gars records.
