@CYRKmusic is a live show and studio duo born from the visions of two Berlin-based producers, Samy Goossens and Pascal Hetzel. They have been playing around the world as a live act, bringing their Detroit-influenced blend of house, techno, acid and electro to some of the world’s best dancefloors. The second host of this series is the pioneer of the Birmingham electronic music scene, the man behind several projects which changed the electronic music scene, the Downwards founder, artist and producer REGIS.

LET LOVE DECIDE, written by REGIS, is an extract from the one-off performance LET THE NIGHT RETURN by Karl O’Connor aka REGIS which took place in June 2019 at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus in Peloponnese - Greece. 
A remarkable UNESCO world heritage site devoted to Asclepius - the Greek god of medicine. The 2,360-year-old, 14.000 capacity open-air Auditorium which is still standing in its original form and shape, as the oldest and last remaining blueprint of architectural acoustics, naturally became the ideal setting for the act. 
In LET LOVE DECIDE Regis is shifting between his signature acoustics old and new, designing a huge spectrum of his deep personality while using his incredible cult voice.

We’re back for 2022 with episode 41 of AIR, an interview podcast series with a different theme each episode. Joining me today is Spanish producer and DJ @jass-29. 

Silvia’s music first caught attention in 2017 when she put out her debut album Weightless, which was well-loved for its heavy use of drone, its avant-garde sound and its industrial mood, terms that JASSS’s intense DJ sets also came to be celebrated for. Now a seasoned artist in her prime, her sophomore record A World of Service, out now on @ostgutton-official, continues to explore those primal tones, not only in its sound but also in its visual elements and a custom made scent that accompanies each vinyl. As such, Silvia and I sat down to talk about music as a sensory experience — how we experience music through each of our five senses,  how factors like drug use, social context, and emotionality enhance our artistic world, and the role of memory in our love of music.
