DIGBMX JOSH CLEMENS PLAYLIST

BMX Inferno was released in 1995 by S&M Bikes. Filmed and edited by Dave Parrick with additional filming duties taken care of by Chris Moeller, Mike Castillo, Scott Matuel, Brian Castillo, Jimmy Flaherty and Paul Green. 

Rumours from an unverified source claim that each song in this video was used predominantly to ridicule or highlight a point about the rider who's section the song was used on, and failing to find a song suitable to upset Fids, they just used a generally funny song for his part instead. Any truth in that? Who knows...Either way, BMX Inferno's soundtrack is as eclectic as it is iconic with tracks from Circle Jerks to Joni Mitchell and everything in between.

BMX INFERNO VHS SOUNDTRACK

Released in 2000 on VHS, Nowhere Fast is considered by many to be one of Dave Parrick's finest creations. It features sections from a serious line-up of riders including Dave Young, Brian Castillo, Rooftop, Jason Enns and Ralph Sinisi to name a few. In true Parrick fashion, Nowhere Fast is packed with classic US punk & metal from the likes of The Cramps, Black Sabbath, Slayer and Bad Brains but also a handful of tracks from the other end of the musical spectrum, such as Eric B & Rakim and Redman. Was Nate Hanson's part in this video, set to The Wizard by Black Sabbath the cause of the peg chink epidemic that swept the planet in the early noughties? Quite possibly...

NOWHERE FAST VHS SOUNDTRACK

Sunset Drive

To say that this creation of Brian Wizmerski's was progressive at the time of its release would be more than an understatement. Beginning with an intro set to a mix of Slayer songs and then dropping straight intro a Corey Martinez part comprised predominantly of riding that was at that time incomprehensible to mere mortals, then switching to Mike Aitken riding huge concrete parks and trails to AC/DC, this video was just relentless from start to finish, where Brian Wizmerski closes the video with a technical street riding section which was, in keeping with the rest of the video, far beyond the norm at that time. The combination of the aforementioned riders, along with Doyle, Elf, Nate Wessel, Biz and more was set to an epic soundtrack, which had a huge part to play in the overall energy of this release.
