I first met Tehotu while doing an appearance on his Pattern web show in Berlin. What struck me the most, apart from his talent for music, is his pure soul and almost child-like enjoyment he has for the techno scene. You could see that he has something to prove though, a chip on his shoulder maybe, but the way he presents himself is almost like he knows things will happen in a certain fashion and on his terms. He has a vision and he will get there. And I'm more than willing to play even a small part in his quest.

The five tracks Tehotu delivered for Secession range from more deeper and even soulful vibes cut through with almost razor sharp synth hooks to more groovier and faster paced hypnotic altercations he cleverly lays down in his arrangements.

Twenty one year old producer and Introspective resident EREIB is up for the second EP release of our ISDIGI series.

Mainly inspired by the hard techno scene nowadays, EREIB's "White Lines" extended play showcases the young producer's quality sound design and musical production at its highest level.

Currently studying as a sound engineer, EREIB's sound can be qualified as precise, clear-cut and ear catching. With a background in classical music, the young producer's sound merges powerful and melancholic soundscapes, contrasted by harsh and textures drums.

"White Lines" is complemented with three remix by no less than LUK3sur, Analect and Introspective resident Cadence, adding up their own sauce to this project.

IMOGEN announces the launch of her Wigs label with the inaugural release WIGS001. The EP is scheduled for 1st of December, boasting collaborations with DJ Stingray 313, Ben Pest, DJ Plant Texture and Jerome Hill.

WIGS001 EP takes off with a strong pairing, IMOGEN and DJ Stingray 313 join forces to mark their first production collaboration with ‘A New Earth‘. The single comes out on 9th of November and it is a hefty track blending electro and techno in an elegant and energetic fashion. ‘Synthesised Heart‘ teams up IMOGEN and a long time favourite Bristolian Ben Pest to offer a hypnotic mixture of grainy and noisy electro textures laced with acid basslines.

Second half of the release is where DJ Plant Texture and Jerome Hill come to play. ‘What Should I Do Next‘ from DJ Plant Texture proves there‘s no time to waste. Sophisticated percussion and chopped up broken vocals persisting throughout form a propelling dancefloor driving force. Lastly, Jerome Hill‘s ‘Hoods Up‘ loops a catchy sample, twisting the four to the floor approach into a layered acid jacking frenzy that builds up with vigour and patience.

Wigs kicked off as a project aimed to offer a new approach to party series and workshops with an emphasis on community, bringing like minded ravers together to build a platform for the next generation of artists and party goers. Wigs has hosted sold out parties and workshops across Europe bringing names such as Daria Kolosova, UR Trax, Salome, Aquarian and more. Wigs also hosts a radio residency on NTS where IMOGEN has played b2bs with Helena Hauff, Sunil Sharpe, Identified Patient and more. Wigs will be coming to New York for the first time this November to host a special in store to celebrate the release as well as an in store showcase in London at Phonica on December 1st to celebrate the release day.

They say momentum creates success, and as we enter the second quarter of the year, we crank up the energy with a six-track release from Swiss artist Unconformist. Finding the perfect balance between EBM-leaning basslines, rough textures, and lush atmospheres, Vivid Scars Symphony is all killer, with no filler.

Within this intense journey of sound, Unconformist is joined by fellow Swiss artist Giselh, for a perfect match of power and intensity. Rounding off the release is German mega talent Parallx, whose rendition of Mindstorm Sonata takes the track to a whole new dimension of uplifting dub techno.
