This track started off as a much different sounding drum loop Digga had made for Samplebase.com that ended up never getting to them. While toying around with some synth lines to go with it, his good friend and studio-mate Archetek heard it while passing through, thought it had great potential and wanted to work on it. So they passed it back and forth four times over about two months and this is the final product...


9 and 1/2 minutes of uplifting progressive acid breaks. All original drum programming, synths, vocals and scratchez. No sampled loops here.

Volo Nocturne by Shining City (aka Diggabeatz and Tekel) (2010)

Released in 2007 on HeadSpin Records. Limited 300 pressed to vinyl, distributed in US, Cananda and Europe by DBI. Never released digitally until right here, right now :) Not available in any digital stores. Please let me know if you play it out :)

Actually wrote most of this in '04, then did this slight rework for the vinyl release. All original drum programming and synth work. Original vocal done by Digga. Scratching at the end done first by Diggabeatz followed by Steez. Produced entirely in Reason, with the exception of the lead synth in the main break-down, which came from my Micro Korg.

This is a collab with my brotha from anotha,  http://soundcloud.com/archetek . Dark, forboding dubstep. Mostly hard hitting kick/snare/clap and mangled bass with some nice surprises for those who listen close ;) Careful, I actually blew a cone listening to the final version on my DJ rig in the studio.
