This was made initially from the recording of Tibetan bowls  with a high quality microphone and went on from there. The lyrics are most definitely inspired by Dick Lucas, front-man and lyricist for The Subhumans, a band I fully admire.

Lyrics for Tibetan Lament are as follows:

Moguls came with a need to take, subdue, to tame to maim, to hurt you
Emperors came, other needs at stake,  subdued , and tamed, then said they loved you 
Maoists came with a talk all fake, claimed to need you, now inter-breed you
They govern you well with outright lies, tailor made just to fool you


Digital age, misinformation, lies and tweets, a grand illusion
Slow down and breathe as the virus spread, it's message says, mass confusion
Economies slumped, yet at home we saved, stopped to think, reduced consumption
Hard for some, less for others, this pause has caused, food for thought.


All we want to do is live our own lives,  all you really need is lead a happy life. 
The only real time is now, meditate that thought, just like they do.
Most of them all want peace, not just for you, but everyone around you
For some its just a game, get rich, sell guns, enjoy a world of cruelty 
Cities full of merchant bankers, live fast, die young, where spending is just paradise

Cloudy Winter 12 - Progressive Electro Attack - 2022

This came about as an idea after having met Marc at a small, somewhat illegal gathering during the covid paranoia of 2020 and we got talking. We wanted to create something Floydesque but with modern sounds. Quite a few months later, this is what we came up with. I had previously worked with Fanny Corboz in a band she was in a few years before, and managed to convince her to come over to the studio for a couple of Gin & tonics, set up some mics and got her to do her ad lib thing that she does so well on vocals. It was all wrapped up in four takes. As for the cymbals, Michael Déforné is a local record (vinyl) and hifi shop in Fribourg. He has been a drummer forever and has a collection of cymbals that would make the vast majority of drummers envious. So,  playing some of his extra-ordinary cymbals, that gave the tune the acoustic edge that you just can't do with samples and DAWs this is what we have come up with. Trippy Electro Chill, for those moments when you need to be transported to another space.
