Earlier this year, I had the honor of being featured by Seattle's premier dance music radio station, C89.5 FM. The feature included a podcast interview and guest mix. For the podcast, I had a really fun conversation with C89's Harmony Soleil, talking about where I've come from and connecting over our mutual interests in music. The guest mix - which aired in late February - travels through several dance music sounds that I love. From deep house to more ravey things, starting around 122 BPM's and ending around 133. The mix also includes a lot of my own tunes, which was a trip to hear on public radio, on a station that I love and grew up listening to 😎 I've finally got around to uploading the mix, and I feel like it's a great representation of myself. Digital Base aka Andy Vibes, Sevillian DJ producer with a career spanning more than 30 years, being one of the oldest DJ producers in the Breakbeat scene who is still active. He was one of those responsible for the legendary iBreaks label and co-founder of the promoter and label Ibreaks España, being a reference for the Hardcore Breaks sound in the late 90s and a pioneer of the Techfunks & Electro House Breaks sound in the early 2000s. His creations have evolved over time, currently giving rise to a substyle that some call “Liquid Breaks”, without forgetting the Old skool of yesteryear. Labels aside, from his Old Skool Records label he usually releases extraordinary compositions with a high emotional charge, musicality and impeccable rhythms, which give a timeless character to everything that comes out of his studio.
