Sounds great: acid + melodies = hard trance!

Well a year has past so I think it's about time for DC RECORDINGS 002 isn't it?

For our second release it comes in the form of a Digital : Code remix of Dj Medowz's first release 'Black Magic' originally being released on German Trance back in 2009 it came with a monster remix from Wragg & Log : One.

As usual DC doesn't disappoint, from the start you're faced with a punchy kick drum that builds in layers then drops into full gated mode accompanied by a phasing closed hi hat floating over the top and some well recognised FX samples. For the main drop we can hear that classic Hennes & Cold bassline return slightly pitched up but still sounding great, the 303 drops at the same time but only as stabs and then it's gradually unleashed to give us it's beautiful groove that's taken from the original mix. 

The break is fairly simple, it includes the 'Black Magic' vocal sample then comes in with the main lead build up filtered down and a clap and snare build that is clearly taken from Warmduschers track auf die fresse........(hey it's a good build) The main section then just rolls out with the same style lead pattern as the original and an added pluck halfway through to give it some harmonic atmosphere, followed by a breakbeat section with the bassline changing key and the famous Amen break swinging away in the background.

We're extremely chuffed with this release and hope it gets the same if not more support as our first release.......we'll try not to leave it so long for DC003.
