an even quicker than usual carrying out of this junto… currently staying,and not sleeping much!, at the Reykjavík Visual Music · Punto y Raya Festival
I took the approach of taking the last 5 seconds of sound before each break i chose in the sound walk and then creating something out of this few seconds of sound to re insert back into the sound walk, at around the 1min mark I deliberately left the nice relatively quiet relaxing break

constructed through simple notes and granular resynthesis construction methods in Logic and Metasynth, a quick audio sketch and soundscape weaving.

whole construction started with recording of cymbal splash,smash,impact recorded on zoom recorder in shed. Metasynth was used to abstract and extrapolate - resynthesis and remapping of patterns found in this ten second recording

derived from field recordings on farm land near marsh, home chooks, and crows near home and in japan- gradually adding accompanying single lines of melodic and rhythmic blending layers

incorporating an old church harmonium clearly out of tune, field recording and foley sounds with synthetic  instrumentation in Logic.

inspired by films soundtracks ,  animals from around the worldand electro acoustic percussive samples- includes stock sounds and sample instruments as well as manipulated cockatoos, "chuffs" ,plovers and small wren bird calls recorded in paddock.
