Through his residency at the club Farblager, he regularly plays fans of electronic music. His big passion for that sound can be perceived in his set every time. The love for making people dance. About this mix, D-Side says: "I've been playing a lot of sets with a lot of house and deep house elements over the last few months, so to find my way back to more driving and technoid sounds in my music. This also fits much better the concept of the podcast, so I prioritised tracks that focus on vocals and vocal tracks. The mix is more melodic and progressive than the traditional sound I'm currently playing. By omitting classics of the genre from the set, I wanted to reflect the current zeitgeist. Cosmic Ray spends a lot of time finding the right tracks that fit his dark vibe. The track that really caught our attention was Decode Blue's remix of Yuna, which kicks in with smooth progressive breaks then unexpectedly launches into thick minimal techno, all the while embellished with the melodies of the original. A uniquely psychedelic and deep journey.
