We are Digital Dream Generation, a flinta* collective from Leipzig/Erfurt, which explores the formations of music that are created on the computer, but does not ignore their analog ways of playing. We are particularly interested in breakbeats and bass music in the spectrum from Electro, over UK Bass and Dubstep to Drum and Bass and organize events and other formats to share and enjoy music, dreams and perspectives.

In this new installment of ddg on air we want to provide a space for the experimental and calm sides of bass music – or simply a space for tracks we rarely get a chance to play in danceheavy sets.

In this first episode, Ruby Cube and Kontingency will explore bass music genres ranging form Dubstep to Breaks and Dnb in new ways.

@votha108 and @rethaex_ have become an integral part of the Leipzig bass music scene. As part of @equalize_leipzig , they give Flinta DJ- workshops and are both enviable bass-music-DJs themselves.

@votha108 has a special flair for musical progression that never feels stagnant, but always organic and varied. With a mixture of well-known drum and bass bangers and lovingly selected diamonds, @votha108 makes every floor shake.

Once @rethaex_ enters the booth, you won't be able to get away because your feet and your heart will keep you there. With her special taste for emotional, soulfoul but still hard hitting neurofunk, both mind and body get what they need.
